    AFCAT - AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST

    Books :

    The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each.

    AFCAT is conducted twice an year; in the month of March and and in the month of August.

    AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions.

    All questions will be of 3marks each. For every correct answer you will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The duration of AFCAT exam is two hours.

    AFCAT Syllabus :

    (a) General Awareness History, Sports, Geography, Environment,
    Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

    (b) Verbal Ability in English Comprehension, Error Detection,
    Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

    (c) Numerical Ability Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit
    & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

    (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test Verbal Skills and Spatial
    Ability.

    Eligibility is :

    Ground Duty Branch:
    20-27 years of age.
    PG or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

    Flying Branch:
    minimum of 19 years of age and maximum of 23 years.
    You must have the B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

    Technical Branch:
    18-28 years of age
    Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
