    UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam every year for the posts of IAS, IPS, IFS, etc.

    For appearing in IPS Exam, you will have to firstly do Graduation in any stream from any recognized institute.

    Then, you can appear for Civil Services Exam in the final year of your Graduation or after completing Graduation.

    You will have to pass three stages to qualify Civil Services Exam:

    >> Preliminary Exam (CSAT Exam)

    >> Mains Exam

    >> Personal Interview


    Age Criteria:

    For General: 21 to 30 years

    For OBC: 21 to 33 years

    For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

    Minimum Percentage Required in a Bachelor degree for UPSC exams is none. Yes there is no minimum percentage required to appear for UPSC exams.
    Your Degree must be from a recognized university or college. If you are b.com 3rd semester student then after successful completition of your graduation, you can go for appearing in UPSC exams!

    Read the books thoroughly as suggested above by @Tarun94 and @RECORD which all will surely help you to pass the exam.

    Then you first you have to complete your graduation first with the 60% min. marks.
    Then after you can apply for this exam.
    The other eligiblty list is .
    age
    general 21 to 30
    obc 21 to 33.
    sc/st 21 to 35.
    attempts.
    general 4
    obc 7.
    sc/st no limits.
    physically fit.
    also should to be an indian citizen .
