For doing M.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering you must opt aeronautical engineering or mechanical for B.Tech.

Looking at the current market for job you should choose branch like
    1-Mechanical
    2-Applied electronics
    3-electrical
    4-eee
    5-instrumentation
    6-tele communication
Since u want aeronatic engineering in mtech
u should choose mechanical or applied electronics or eee or instrumentation .

    Hai Friend.

The best branch in Engineering is ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering).

To get into Aeronautical engineering you must select Aerounautical engineering branch.

According to my opinion if you have written entrance exam for ISAT with a better rank then you can go into that field and it is more workproned field and if you have not written the exam then it is better to go into software branches and courses are offered in Banglore to do your m tech in favourite field if you have stuff in your self

then the best is apply for aeronautics not in b.tech . form of application is found in your near airport . two times a year you can apply for aeronautics one in december and other in june. exam is held in feb and august. and if you are willing for other stream then better in for mechanical by which after your bachelor degree you can get a master degree in aeronautics. this will be the best option for you.

the best branch in engineering is ece, this branch has grown really very fast in the recent years,
but if you want to do m.tech in aerospace/aeronautical then aeronauitics or mechanical wil be best for you according to me,
    rest is your own choice.
