You could also simultaneously takeup CWA course also. CS is specialised in company law and CWA is expert in costing and MIS reports you will be definitely placed high with CS course alone. If you could do CWA also you could handle both finance and compliance officer.

Both the courses are better you will get good after after completion of your CS course.
After completion of CS course you can apply for the following government organisations:

Airport Authority of India
Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML)
Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC)
State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited
In addition to these, many banks also take on company secretaries. A few other job areas in the public sector are:

Accounts Branch of the Central Government Law Services
Bureau of Public Enterprises
Government Financial Institutions
Stock Exchanges

In my opinion there are various opportunities available to you after completing -CS or CWA.Both of the courses have good scope to develop into a great career, the
only thing required is that you need to do hard work and you should have determination in order to get a good reputation in any society.

Now both of the courses can be considered as follows:
CS-
This course is mainly opted by those students who want to work in the corporate sector.Company secretary is a great profession and it can fulfill your each and every dream.
But it is a fact that nowadays the competition in this sector has considerably increased.So, you need to be among the best of the candidates who may be applying for the position
of company secretary in any organisation.

CWA-
This course is mainly opted by those students who want to study and learn about cost accounting which is done in various types of Industries.You would be glad to know
that scope and opportunities in this sector have increased a lot due to the development of manufacturing sector in India.The government is spending huge amount of funds
for the development of this sector.So, because of all this development taking place, the scope in this sector has also increased.

Now you can accordingly decide whether you want to continue with CS or you want to opt for the other one.
