In the above stream the 12th non-medical stream is better than the B.S.C graduation.Because if you go for the engineering after the 12th examination then you can save a lot of time.
Your percentage should not minimum to the 60%.You fill the prospectus form and go for the A.I.E.E.E entrance exam for the B.tech engineering. There is the best opportunities after completing your B.tech engineering. You can get the gob after the B.tech engineering and you also go for the M.tech.

Hello friend,
As you have told that you have completed 10+2 non medical field, so you should choose any engineering courses and should go for it..because B.Sc. agriculture course will be new for you and engineering is your field so you have to go for engineering only...but choose any one of it as per your own interest...
good luck!.

If you are interested in agriculture you have two choices. Both have their own importance.

1.BSc Agriculture
2.B. Tech Agricultural Engineering

B.Sc Agriculture
It deals with the modern trends in the agriculture, techniques, methods to improve the yield, tissue culture, mixed farming, methods to prevent pest, fertilizers, and other agriculture related matters.BSc Agriculture offers job opportunities in the govt sector in the post of Agricultural officer.

B. Tech Agricultural Engineering
It deals with the machineries used in agriculture. The working, principle and mechanism of Tractors, cultivator, subsoiler, rotavator etc.It offers job opportunities in Govt as well as private sector.

YOU YOU ARE A NON MEDICAL STUDENT YOU CAN GO THROUGH ENGINEERING AS THERE IS NO MEDICAL STUDIES ARE THERE.
BUT IN B.Sc Agriculture THERE IS YOU CAN REFER THE MEDICAL TERMS LIKE BIOLOGY.
YOU HAVE A GOOD SCOPE IN ENGINEERING RATHER THAN B.Sc Agriculture.

All are good in their own field.

engineering is the technical education.

B.sc agriculture is the study of plant .

chhose which is the favourite subject, in this way you choose your good subject.

Re: Which is better between B.Sc Agriculture and Engineering after completing 10+2 Non Medical?

My friend of course engineering is a much much better field than agriculture.
The starting pay scale is very good for b.tech's and B.E.'s.
But donot forget that the agriculture is also a very good field. The country's major per capita income of about 60% comes from agriculture! The jobs in agriculture are very well governmental and you know the benefits of government jobs! But the pay scale initial is not so high as compared to engineering.
So you have to decide whether you want to earn through your mother land on which you live or engineering. Good luck.

In terms of valuation of the degree, engineering will be given a higher weightage in the job market. Candidates with an engineering degree will be given a preference over the other graduates. Also the there will be difference in the salary drawn. If you plan to go for the B.Sc course then on completion of the course you must certainly go for M.Sc course. Even then the M.Sc candidates will be considered more or less equivalent to a B.Tech candidate. So if you have an option certainly you must go for B.Tech. But the decision should be taken by you based on your area of interest. Also you have to decide on what your career path should be.

In my view Engineering is better as compared to Bsc agriculture.
Agriculture is a very sector specific field. Once you compleate you
Bsc in agriculture, the job opportunities available to you will be limited
to this field only. Whereas if you go for engineering you will have much more
opportunities as compared to agriculture.
After engineering you will have opportunities in PSU , Goverment departments,
as well as private sector companies.
In agricultute job opportunities will be mostly confined to goverment sector.
Still you should make a selection according to your intrest.

i think both are good option but in running time engineering have good future but in b.sc agriculture also have good future so in which course you are interested is more important and in engineering mainly base is pysics and in b.sc agriculture base is biology so you are non medical student so engineering is good for your study

dear friend, you should go for engineering after non-medical 10+2 . Though you may have good job options with BSc agriculture but there are far better and

more options of jobs after doing engineering. Also your own interest is also important and it should be considered while choosing the engineering branches if you

decide to go for it.There are direct campus placements in almost all colleges after engineering ,so you don't have to search for jobs here and there unlike B.Sc

agriculture. Also you can pursue M.Tech after B.Tech, which further opens great job opportunities. B.Tech plus MBA is also in great demand these days.

So, engineering will be a wise decision .

thank you. regards.
