    b.c.a -- bachelor in computer applications(3 yr course)
    ideal course to follow up with m.c.a after which u can get a job in some computer firm.U may get job after course also.

    b.tech -- bachelor in technical education(4 yr course)
    This degree gives u a engineer's tag. The dream course for most of the Indian students. U can follow any course as u join say electrical, mechanical, comp. sc., biotech, etc... and u finish after 4 years with an engineering degree. U have an array of options before u-- a job with good salary, an option to do MBA, an option to go abroad for higher studies through GRE, or to study higher education in India by doing GATE.

    B.Tech have more study than BCA and job oppurtunities are also more if you have B.Tech degree.

    BCA alsohave job oppurtunities and after it do MCA then ycan get a good salary job.

    If possible, do B.tech (4 years).

    BCA is of 3 years.

    Obviously BTech is better my friend in terms of all knowledge, opportunities and salary .
    In BCA you will study about different types of languages, their fundamentals etc.
    Then you will be required to do a MCA in order to add more value to your profile.
    However BE/BTech in Computer science gives you a more edge in terms of technicals etc.
    Here you will learn the systematic development and application of techniques
    which lead to the creation of correct and reliable computer software.

    Hi Sarika BCA is a three years course and B.TECH shall be four years course.

    If you are intrested towards technical fields then opt B.TECH or else go for BCA.

    Salary wise your talent plays a major role, if you are able to maintain good percentage in any of the fields specified then u can obtain a good position with almost same starting salary.

    B.Tech is a graduation program with 4 years duration with a mix of technical knowledge. Whereas B.C.A shall be completed within 3 years.
    BCA is nearly equivalent to CSE stream in B.tech.
    The competition levels for B.tech is at peak so B.C.A shall be a better option for you to choose.

    Opportunities and salaries for a fresher is almost same for both B.tech and B.C.A.

    Judge well among the courses; including fee structure and course duration etc to build up a good career.

    All the Best.

    Dear,there is a lot of difference between these 2 degrees after doing b.tech a person termed as engineering degree and bca is simply a bachelor degree specification in computer applications so according to me B.tech degree is more valuable according to your relations in terms of knowledge and salary .

    You know that where stand B-Tech.
    B-Tech is highly reputed 4 year degree course and for that AIEEE and IIT-JEE exams was held.
    And now talking about BCA course it is simply three year course and there is no ALL INDIA entrance exam for BCA.
    So hope so it helps you to think BCA is good or BTech.

    Re: Which is better among B.tech and B.C.A? What is the difference between both interms of Knowledge,opportunities and salary?

    btech-bachelor of technologies
    bca-bachelor of computer applications

    i say that btech is evergreen.

    in btech there are many branches.some of them are
    CSE;
    ECE;
    EEE;
    MECHANICAL;
    CIVIL;
    AERONAUTICAL;
    CHEMICAL;
    AUTOMOBILE;
    etc............
    the above are some of the branches in engineering.after completing btech you can do mba or mtech.
    for doing mba you has to write cat entrance for getting seat in top universities of mba.
    for doing mtech you has to write gate entrance for getting seat in top universities.
    after completing mba or mtech with nice percentage and with high knowledge in your field then you will get a nice job with high salary.

    or

    if you go for doing bca then also no problem.bca deals only with computer applications.but in btech there are many fields depending upon your intrest you can take any i mentioned above.
    after completin bca you can go for doing mba or mca.some colleges offering integrated course bca with mca.you can go for that also.
    after completing mca you can get compulsory job with nice salary.

    depending on your intrest you can take any but my choice is take btech.

    I think comparison Between BCA and BTech- is does not mean anything..
    But However you are alsing.
    As BCA is three year course and BTech is Four Year course.
    If one person have BCA degree and other person have B Tech degree and both are applying for same job then it is 100% sure company take BTech degree Student..
    So now you think where is BCA in the face of BTech.

    BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications. This is a three year graduation course. BCA course will give you an exposure in software and in computer programming. After doing this course, you can opt for MCA. MCA course will offer you an excellent job profile in software field. Multinational organizations such as TCS, Wipro, and Reliance etc carry out bulk recruitments annually. This is mainly done for taking in eligible candidates into the various job openings available in this firms. B.Tech in Computer Science is a professional course. The duration for this course is four years. After completing B.Tech course, you can become a software professional. To be very frank, B.Tech course is more valuable than BCA. The salary is also high for B.Tech graduates as compared to that of BCA graduates.

    B.tech is the best option for education.Its better as compare to Bca.You can get more jobs opportunities with engineering as compare to bca.You

    can also get placement in good MNC companies if you choose engineering field.

    BCA is becholor degree for computer education and in engineering there are many course or branches are available.So you can chose any one of

    them.

    If you can choose bca than you should do Mca.The engineering degree level is similar to mca.So its good to choose engineering.

    You can get more knowledge in engineering education and also you can get very good salery after engineering.

    So you should choose engineering option.

    All the best.

    After doing BCA one can be called as software developer.
    But,After doing B.tech one can be called as Computer Engineer.
    finally software developers only concentrate developing software coding part,
    but b.tech engineers concentrates with verity of platforms such as developing,
    technical support , mentenance etc .
    So as a BCA study and B.tech these both are as nearly same.
