You have completed B-TECH degree in ECE so you can choose the option as your strength.

If your interest lies in the TECHNOLOGY than you must go for the M.Tech . M tech is like Advanced B tech .

After completion of your M-TECH degree you are applicable in Govt ,Private sector also. You have chances in Lectureship and R&D field also.

MBA is a whole different thing. Its management thing, If you like to hold high posts in an industry you should prefer this. After completion of MBA course you can get a very good management job , with high salary package and better designation.

Maximum no jobs are belongs to Private sector for MBA candidate.

In the respect to salary , MBA is high salary jobs compare to M-TECH.

Re: Which is the best option between M.Tech and M.B.A after completing B.E in EC?

    Hello Dear Friend,

M.Tech and MBA,Both are post graduation courses. We cannot decide which is best one. These two are good courses and providing good employment opportunities. If You are having interest towards Teaching Field then You can go for M.Tech or If You are having interest towards Management then You can go for MBA Course.

But If You consider opportunities then You can find huge opportunities with MBA Course but It can be possible only when you pursue MBA Course from Top Business Schools then only it is possible to get good jobs in the top companies with good packages.

So my suggestion is try to go for MBA Course where You will be having chance to get opportunities in the campus itself.

CAT is a common admission test conducted by IIMs to get admissions in to their management programs. This is a online test.If you score more than 90 percentile then only you will be having chance to get admission in to this institutes.

In My Opinion CAT is the best entrance exam to get admission in to Indian Top Business Schools. If You do hard work for This exam,Then You can get good percentile. But try to get more than 96 percentile in CAT entrance test then only You will be having chance o get admission in to Top Business Schools in India.

    There are plenty Of specializations in MBA Course;

    Supply chain management
    International Business
    Textile management
    Banking management
    Retail management
    Hospital management
    Sports management
    Event management
    Entertainment management
    Operations management
    Systems management
    IT Management
    Media management
    Oil management
    Fashion Management
    Marketing management
    Finance management
    Logistics management

Thumbs up Best option between M.Tech and M.B.A

    Hello Friend

M.Tech and MBA are good career options for one who wanted to go for higher studies, it depends on you and your interest in that related stream to pursue the course.

As you are an Engineering background student completed your Bachelor Degree in EC stream, M.Tech in EC will be good choice if you are really interested in Electronics stream.

Pursuing M.Tech in India's top colleges like through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) will fetches you good career start after completion of your M.Tech course and also gives you chance to join in India's famous colleges for M.Tech course.

Qualifying GATE alone also gives you a chance to apply for the various central government jobs, if you want to settle soon without higher studies.

In my view pursuing M.Tech as you are an EC student will show you more number of opened doors to start your career but you must complete M.Tech in reputed colleges having campuses placements and well qualified and knowledge professors.

As the competition is increasing every day and the number of young graduates are coming out every year, you must be excellence in your studies.

Coming to MBA, it is totally a different field which is not related to your stream at all to join in Business Management you must be good at business oriented skills and also maintain good communication skills.

Many young aspirants are now a days pursuing MBA, after Degree completion but pursuing ordinary will not fetch job easily as the outcome of the aspirants are more. So if you are really interested in joining MBA then you should go for Common Admission Test (CAT), or Management Ability Test (MAT).

Getting a good score in CAT/MAT exams and joining in India's top MBA colleges like Indian Institute of Management (IIM's) etc will gives your career a flying colors with campuses recruiting companies. Studying normal MBA degree you should struggle hard in this competitive days.

So friend it is all in your hands that for any stream MBA / M.Tech you must win and be top in the Competitive exams so that you can start your career with good opening, so decide yourself in which field you are having interest and go for it.

For any further query you can leave your message here.

Re: Best option between M.Tech and M.B.A

Both are good. But I think MBA has more demand than MCA. You should have to go for MBA if you want international job offers.

To get into IIM's you have to come across 3 stages:
    1.Qualifying in CAT(Common Admission Test)
    2.Group Discussion
    3.Personal Interview

    CAT Exam Pattern:

The CAT exam will have only two sections.
    1.First section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;
2.The second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

The examination will be 140 minutes.

You should have a degree from a recognized university.

You must have atleast 50% through out your academics.

You can write if you are in final year also

If you have any backlogs left, then you are not eligible !!

    Top MBA streams:

    Marketing management
    Human resource management
    Operations management
    IT for management
    Retail management
    Hospital management
    Tourism management
    International Business
    Financial management
    Business strategy
    Entrepreneurship and business planning

The list of subjects in MBA are:

    Fundamental Accounting
    Statistics for Business Administration
    Marketing Fundamentals
    Financial Management
    Quantitative Techniques
    Financial Accounting
    Strategic Management
    Organization Behavior
    Business Environment
    Global Human resource management
    Managerial Economics
