Re: Best option between M.Tech and M.B.A after B.Tech?

Both MBA as well as M.Tech. give you wide scope for job in the various fields. So selection of course after B.Tech totally depends on your interest. If you are interested in business and management fields so definitely you must chose MBA rather than you can go for M.Tech to carry on with technical field.

    SCOPE OF MBA:-

The MBA programme run throughout the world because of high demand of MBA graduates across industries, business sectors and economies.

    SCOPE OF M.TECH.:-

M.Tech gives you chance to take jobs in big companies like IIT's and NIT's. Irrespective of these, it gives you chance to grab job in foreign countries with satisfactory salary package.

    thanks:-)......

Mba And M.tech both the courses are good in its own position. It is quite difficult for the students for the Aspirant to choose the One Course if both are best. But It completely depends on you to select the subject/course.Both the courses having good scope in their own position. If you are interested in the business/management field and want to bright your future in the Administration sector then It will be good to go for the MBA course.
    Or,
If you are interested to go in the Technical field , Want your future bright in the Technology field then It will be good to choose the M.tech course. As you are the student of B.tech so I think It will be more good & convenient to study the M.tech course. But decision is completely depend On you.Take your decision according to your Interest and Convenience.

    Good luck.

    hi my friend,
first of all, i would like to say that if you do MBA, you can still go into technical job and your salary will be much greater than that you would get by doing b tech only because after doing mba you will have a degree in both the fields-engineering and management.
and if you are really interested in doing further studies in your engineering department, then you must opt for m tech.
mba is a completely different field than engineering and it requires entirely different approach than engineering.

now whatever you choose, choose wisely according to your own personal interests.
    best of luck

According to me you have to do M.tech.This will be best for you because you have done b.tech.
if you choose MBA then you can face some problem to understand subjects.
but if you will do m.tech then you see that some subject are same as b.tech.
after M.tech you can good jobs in your selected branch field.
MBA is also good but according to your graduation you have to choose M.tech.

    Hello Friend

the best option between this cant possible to say because both are very strong degree and after completion of that you can earn higher amount of salary

its up to you what to choose but i will help to find what is good for you future-----------------------

1- if you want to pursue you future in engineering field so you need to opt M TECh or if you want to
work in ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT so you need to choose MBA.

2- if you do M TECH so you will join a job as a JUNIOR ENGINEER OR TECHNICAL ENGINEER OR
ANALIST BUT IF YOU DO MBA you will join first job as a MANAGER or ADMIN position which is
    management position in the company

you will do work as a BOSS..

3-- or you can go for MS which is can do after B TECH ,If you are agree to go outside of India and financially sound and good you can prefer M.S. You need to appear for GRE/TOEFL for doing M.S in Foreign countries.

for appearing in MBA you should clear these exam one of them like
    1--CAT
    2--XAT
    3--CET

and for M TECH stream concerned you need to clear GATE exam than you can take admission in MTEC H , so do work hard and try to get the admission in IIT one of them and go for research study

so there is no such point to compare this , both are specialised degree in their field

    thanks

    hii friend,

the best option i would suggest is if u want to go for mtech u shuld clear gate and should get in national institutes and for mba to b schools so decide ur self as both have thier uniqueness , mba is bussiness side and mtech is technical and mech electrical side if u are strong in bussiness side go for mba or next is mtech. and i would say mtech is good for the future for a btech graduate as it continues btech

Re: Best option between M.Tech and M.B.A after B.Tech?

This is most common doubt raised in the mind of B.Tech students.

BEST OPTION BETWEEN MBA AND M.TECH.

M.Tech is related with your further studies in technology for which you have to go through exams like GATE or GRE.

MBA is related to the bussiness administration for which you have to go through exam called as CAT.

So if you are interested in scientific research and government jobs you should go for M.Tech. from premium institutes like NIT. You should also try for foreign universities.

But if your interested in availing good package and working in corporate sector then MBA from institutes like IIM or foreign bussiness school is a good option.

So now it entirely depends upon you to discover your interest and make the proper choice.

    BEST OF LUCK

    friends

    MBA-MASTERS IN BIUSNESS ADMINISTRATION

    M.TECH-MASTERS IN TECHNOLOGY

IF UR AIMING TO BECOME RESEARCHER,SCINTIST M.TECH IS BEST

BUT IF U R THINKING FOR GOOD JOB OPPURTUNITIES AFTER M.TECH

WHICH U R NOT GETING AFTER B.TECH IS NOT A BETTER OPTION

AS FOR BIG MNC A B.TECH STUDENT IS EQUIVALENT TO B.TECH+M.TECH

THEY JUST REQUIRE UR ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE

WHILE MBA IS ANOTHER GOOD OPTION AS AFTER THAT HE/SHE WILL GET HIGH POST IN

THE MNC'S CONDITION IF DONE FRM GOOD INSTITUTE

EDUCATION COST IS NEARLY SAME FOR BOTH

Re: Best option between M.Tech and M.B.A after B.Tech?

My dear friend it is a general confusion among the students that which course to choose among MBA and M.Tech after the completion of B.Tech.

I am going to tell you solution to this Problem and give you some advise which may help to choose between them.

M.Tech i.e Master of Technology is generally considered the Best option after B.Tech.

It is so because the subjects in M.Tech are mostly similar to the subjects in B.Tech and are in depth.
So you get to learn a lot of the subjects in detail which you have already learned in B.Tech.

The scope of M.Tech is as follows:

--> You can go into teaching line and can become a lecturer in a College or University.

--> You can open you own Institutions for giving Tuition to the students.

--> You can go into research field etc. in your subject of interest.

So M.Tech is the most recommended option after B.Tech.

Talking about MBA (Master of Business Administration) i want to say that it is also very good option.

But the difference between MBA and M.Tech is that MBA is related to the Business and stuff.
If you are really interested in Business and subjects related to it such as Accounts, Economics, Marketing etc then you should surely go for MBA.

The scope of MBA is as follows:

--> You can become a business consultant.

--> You can Become a Manager in any Industry.

--> You can easily handle your own Business.

--> You can become a Business Administrator.

Now that i have told you the benefits of both M.Tech and MBA it is entirely dependent on you now to choose the one which is most suitable for you.
    So choose wisely.

    Regards

    MBA

->The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines.

->The MBA designation originated in the United States, emerging from the late 19th century as the country industrialized and companies sought out scientific approaches to management.

->The core courses in the MBA program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc.

->Students in MBA programs have the option of taking general business courses throughout the program or can select an area of concentration and focus approximately one-fourth of their studies in this subject.

    Basic types of MBA programs

    Two-year (Full Time)

->MBA programs normally take place over two academic years (i.e. approximately 18 months of term time).

->For example in the Northern Hemisphere beginning in late August/September of year one and continuing until May of year two, with a three to four month summer break in between years one and two.

->Students enter with a reasonable amount of prior real-world work experience and take classes during weekdays like other university students.

->Accelerated MBA programs are a variation of the two year programs. They involve a higher course load with more intense class and examination schedules.

->They usually have less "down time" during the program and between semesters. For example, there is no three to four month summer break, and between semesters there might be seven to ten days off rather than three to five weeks vacation.

    Part-time MBA programs

->It normally hold classes on weekday evenings, after normal working hours, or on weekends. Part-time programs normally last three years or more.

->The students in these programs typically consist of working professionals, who take a light course load for a longer period of time until the graduation requirements are met.

    Executive MBA (EMBA) programs

->It developed to meet the educational needs of managers and executives, allowing students to earn an MBA or another business-related graduate degree in two years or less while working full-time.

->Participants come from every type and size of organization profit, nonprofit, government representing a variety of industries.

->EMBA students typically have a higher level of work experience, often 10 years or more, compared to other MBA students. In response to the increasing number of EMBA programs offered, The Executive MBA Council was formed in 1981 to advance executive education.

    [COLOR="rgb(139, 0, 0)"]dear friend,

if you want to do the master degree after the b.tech then you have to see at your branch in your b.tech. if you have not good branch then you can go for the MBA, and if you have the branch like the mechanical and the civil then you should go for the m.tech.
the reason is simple, you will earn more of your field in the m.tech which is the technical field. and if you are choosing the MBA then this will beneficial for you if you are not interested in the technical field. this is a technical field and you can go for it after the graduation.

there are some entrance exam for the MBA course like:-

    CAT
    MAT
    SNAP
    XAT
    KMAT
    CMAT

    etc.

and the entrance exams for the m.tech is the GATE.

according to latest trend most of the students are doing MBA after b.tech than before ...but m.tech is better than MBA as far as i am considered BECAUSE all the four years of b.tech you study very hard ....but if you do MBA there is nothing in relation to those four years ......and more over you can do MBA even after general degree ..what is the benefit of doing b.tech my dear.....so doing m.tech after b.tech is sensible and wise and will be better for your future .....all the best for a bright future
