My dear well it depends on you as you can choose commerce with maths or economics

My dear as you said you want to join as charted accountant so you don't need to worry

Because it is not necessary to take maths if you want to join as CA As maths is not subject in CA Too

Also it will also not come in CA Entrance test CPT Also

As you said you are week in maths so you don't need to take maths

But it will all depend on your interest

Though you are weak in Maths,even then I would advice you to take maths in your 12th with Commerce.

Because Maths in your 12th will help a lot.

For example:-

1.In solving numericals of economics,accounts.

2.In CA entrance exam i.e,CPT.

3.In any further entrance exam.

4.For admission in B.Com hons. because many colleges require maths as a subject in 12th with commerce.

I am giving you some details of CA course:-

CA course is managed by ICAI.

The course is divided in three parts:-

1.CPT.

2.IPCC which is in two groups.

3.Finals.

You can give your CPT after your 12th.

Syllabus of CPT consists of:-

1.Maths

2.Accounts.

3.General Economics.

4.Merchantile Law

CPT is conducted twice in a year.

You will have to register yourself with ICAI and apply for CPT exam in order to be eligible to give that exam.

->yes,it is advisable to take mathematics with commerce in 12th standard;it is more beneficial for you.
->if you want to do CA(chartered accountant);then also mathematics is beneficial for you to solving numericals.
->if you take mathematics then also you may apply further for BCA/MCA.
->if you don't take mathematics then you are totally stick with commerce not to go for BCA/MCA.
