Well mine friend, There is no specific cutoff for any course, whether it be BBA or it be BCA or any course.

Marks cutoff is often decided by the college/University itself for which you are applying in order to get admission.

Well, so always your choice depends upon you and what you are actually aiming at like what are interests ,etc.



Choose BBA if you fulfill all the criteria i mention below :

>> First, of all you should know that in eyes of society and Counselors BBA is considered as Time-Pass Course.

>> So, you must understand that contents of BBA are reckless and unworthy.

>> Choose BBA only if you think that you have proper Good English and Presentation skills.

>> Also, BBA covers some Finance related topics so, choose if you think you may survive Finance, Economy,etc topic.



Choose BCA only if you fulfill all below written criteria :

>> First of all, BCA is a nice course and You must know that BCA + MCA = B.Tech in CS/B.Tech in IT, as experts think and realize it as.

>> For BCA, try to have a logical brain which is good with algorithm and flowcharts.

>> You need to have great interest for Languages(programming ones), so that you may do better in this field.

Well, you see you need to be choose if you follow any of points in above mentioned two categories.

The course which you feel that it will be best for me is the best course for you.
No can give you the right choice regarding selecting course as because it is the matter of your life.
So you will have to think deeply for selecting your course and area of your Interest.

You have shown interest in doing BBA and in BCA.
Your percentage of marks in class 12 is 55%,not so bad but also not so good.

BCA is a technical field that basically deals with software development.
In order to do this course your Mathematics backgroung should be strong.
But in BCA you will have to score more then 70% for doing further higher courses.,such as MCA.
But you will face difficulties in taking admission in MCA in top colleges ,it is because you have scored only 55% but top colleges for MCA demanded for 60% and above in 10+2 as well as in BCA/Graduation.

For taking admission in BBA you will not require any mathematics background.
However your analytical reasoning capability should be very high for doing this course.
You will also be eligible for taking admission in MBA as well as you will be eligible for appearing in CAT,XAT,MAT etc exam for taking admission In MBA with this marks.

But the final decision should be taken from your side.
You do not worry for the top colleges for MCA if you are interested in doing BCA.
There are other various private universities and government universities in India in which you will able to take admission even you have less marks in 10+2.

now you want to know which course is best between BBA/BCA.
first of all all courses are best and good.
you can choose any one of them.
this is depend on you that in which subject you have interest.
if you have interest in compuetr then you can do BCA.
if you have interest in management then you can choose BBA.
ITs again now on you what you choose.
which course you choose from both you can see bright future in both stream.
there is no any cut off marks for both course.
some university take entrance exam that you have to give otherwise you will get admission easily in any university.
