If you are interested in going towards the technical side then M.Tech is a good choice. if you get admission in IIT's or the top NIT's then you have a great opportunity to work with some nice companies like GE, Ashok Leyland etc.. MBA if done in the top B schools will provide an excellent platform for you to earn a lot and growth is very good. but if not in the top B schools then there might be some trouble getting a satisfactory job.

these days every one is going for B.TECH and MBA although it is a good strem but it will be reaching its saturation level very soon so i wlill advise you to go for B.TECH and then for M.TECH....with M.TECH degree you will be eligible to teach the B.TECH students thatis you can be a lecturer in any engineering college....you can also get jobs in companies like that of microsoft...TCS...NTPC and others i would advise you to go for M.tech rather than MBA but rest depends on your interest...
