Both the courses are equally important. An MBA degree will help you to enter in the management field. After MBA you can join for a job in both the sectors. Civil service is an All India examination which is conducted by the UPSC. This exam is mainly conducted for the recruitment of qualified candidates in to various services such as IAS, IPS, IES etc. Hence itís your personal decision to take up a course. You can select the course according to your interest.

IN MY opinion if you have completed engineering then i suggest you to prepare for the enterance exam for the upsc. IF you have passed the enterance exam you must select civil services like IAS, IPS ,IES.

Re: Which is best among MBA and Civil Services after completing Engineering ?

    Hello Friend..........

Among the MBA and the Civil Services you can take up the both, when comes to the best one in both the civil services are much and more better then any of the course or the jobs,as there will be high priority for the civil services examination.
You can do the part time in the MBA if you have interest in both the MBA and the civil services, for appearing to the civil services you should have completed the minimum of the graduation or the bachelor degree and so you can complete the MBA through part time if you had interest in the MBA course of study.

Civil services are generally offered by the UPSC and getting in to the civil services is very tough as there will be very tough competition for the civil services and you should have good aim and confidence of getting the civil services.
The civil services selections generally will take place in three levels of rounds such as the.
    Preliminary Examination
    Main Examination
    Interview
These are the three levels of examination and these selections will take place all most one year long for the selection criteria.
You need to clear all these examinations for getting in to the civil services.........

MBA is also related to the business management fields and also there will be good job opportunities for the MBA graduates in the present world and you can appear for this MBA graduate degree course of study after the completion of the graduation course of study.
    MBA in Finance
    MBA in Information Technology
    MBA in Marketing
    MBA in Human Resource Management
    MBA in Operation Management
These are the branches of the MBA which are available.........
These branches are only having high demand and the job opportunities when compared to the other branches of study.........

Civil services are best when compared to the MBA because the civil services are of the central government recognized and there will be high demand when compared to the other courses of study.
Once if you get in to the civil services such as IAS/IPS there will be high prosperity and high demand for you and you can get the job security and you will having the authority for handling the government also...............
