N.D.A or National Defense Academy is located at Khadakwasala in Pune. It’s defiantly a good decision to choose defense as a career option irrespective of being a male or a female. It is a strict rule that have been followed for ages that only males are allowed admission to N.D.A and not females. But there are various other ways that you can join the defense services. After completing your degree you can apply for short service commission. After clearing the exam, you will be able to join the defense services as an officer. If you do your degree on any one of the science stream then, you will be able to join the IAF or the Indian Navy.

I am very sorry to inform you that girls are not allowed for NDA Exam. NDA is for only unmarried Male candidates.

But if you are so interested to join Defence services then you can join it through CDS(Combined Defence Service) Examination conducted by UPSC{Union Public Service Commission} two times in a Year generally as CDS I & CDS II Exam.

- You can Join Defence through CDS exam for the post of Officers Training Academy that is for Women candidates only.

-For this your Age must be in Between 19 to 25 years.

No , you cannot appear for NDA as its only for males .

but I can give you a better suggestion to join any degree that is in boom like BCA/BBA its of 3 years .after finishing degree you can get good jobs in any MNC's ,either you can go for Management or I.T .it completely depends on your area interest.

GIrls cannot join INDIAN ARMY through NDA exam after 12th exam because they are not eligible to appear in the exams conducted by UPSC for the selection of cadets for the NDA.

GIrls cannot join because the training of IMA is so tough that the girls cannot survive so only boys can join NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY.

The Training course is tough here so that's why the girls candidates are not eligible to appear for the NDA exams.

You can't appear for NDA.But you can join Indian Army as a SSC(short service commision) after your graduation degree.

SSC(Short Service Commission)-
Qualification required- Your degree/BE/B Tech degree should have minimum 60% marks and you should be passed in Physics and maths in class 12th.
Age limit- 19-23 years.
Advertisement Schedule- In the month of March and September.
Required height of girls in Defense must be at least 150cm.
