Bachelor of Computer Application degree course as alone doesn’t carry much weightage. Usually BCA students go for MCA and once they have done MCA, they stand a better chance to get into some good job in IT industry. BCA graduates can start their career as junior programmer and can get promoted to the post of senior programmer and project Manager once they take MCA. They also can take up job in areas like network and system administration, web designing, software programming, faculty in computer technology and database administration.

If we talk about the job opportunities of BCA we can say that, opportunities exist in both Government sector and private sector. But again it is advisable to go in for MCA too as BCA alone may not be sufficient to find jobs. In the public sector, Government information technology companies and government companies like BHEL, NSDL, MTNL and BSNL are hiring these BCA/MCA graduates and they can also work as computer faculty in government schools. If we take the case of private sector we can find that several reputed companies like Microsoft, Hindalco, Larson and Turbo, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc are recruiting BCA graduates into junior positions.

BCA helps the students in gaining a good knowledge in Computer Applications. As we all know there are a lot of opportunities in the IT field. I think firstly you need to complete your graduation and then try for bank jobs then you get good job and good salary However if you look for Clerical jobs then you have to need read daily newspaper and employment newspaper...

I think you should study further and do post graduation.
You have very limited opportunities on the basis of a BCA degree.
Some IT companies like Wipro recruit BCA but they require good
marks overall in 10th, 12th and BCA.
So you should go for a MCA or MBA further as it will definitely

there is a lot of scope of BCA after 12th if you have good interest in computer applications.But it is very important that you do it from a good college otherwise it won't be very effective.Also you must have computer as a subject in 11th and 12th for this degree course to be more effective though a person not having studied computer previously may also do the course.There are cases when companies like Wipro recruits candidates after BCA and then they bear the cost of their higher studies and make them do MBA along with the job.
