hey rohan. it depends full on you because both the fields are related to computer (IT) Field..where b.tech takes 4year and b.c.a 3years only
and according to the present scenario B.C.A is good one because after you can get job much earlier and at a very good income.

    Dear Friend,
Have you appeared for any Entrance Examination for Engineering/B tech/Be courses? If not, then do prepare well and appear for the same.Only doing BCA(IT) will be of no use ,if you opt for BCA(IT),then you need to do MCA to get proper jobs and it will take 6yrs to complete(3yrs BCA+3yrs MCA).
After BCA you will definitely get jobs but that will not be that good as compared to jobs offered to Engineers. For that you need to opt for MCA.
So start preparing for Engineering so that you can get into a good college.

My freind there is nothing impossible in this world,if you are interested in engineering then you must go for it,if you are afraide of these comptitive exams then you can apply for private college/university.Both the courses have scope and it sector is v.fast growing,so choose anyone course according to your interest.Good luck!

Yes I totally agree that competetion is tough for Btech degree as there is always good scope for jobs after Btech. But there are many Institutions which can provide you the degree of Btech so you need not to wory at all,See there are both government as well as Private Institutions in our country which are highlly reputated and can serve you with good placement too.You first can give AIEEE,IIT JEEE,Staete exam for Engineering. If you couldnot get clear this exam then go for private Universities like Anna University,Vellore University,Dr.D Y Patil University,Comed k exam,Indraprasth university,Maharastra CET,MNR unuversity,SRM university etc !!! BCA is also agood course to go for but compare to Btech its value is a bit less !!!

In my opinion btech is far more better than bca.So you should give entrance exam of both. There are easy papers too in btech like pet and aieee. If you dont qualify in these then you should go for bca.

Dear friend i dont know why are you saying like this. Unless and untill you are not going to face competition you can acheive success in your life. After BCA if you pursue it, then there is again a tough competition of MCA. Then how can you succeed there. So dont panic and creat havoc, think over the issues and take right decision depending upon your choice of career and your inherent capabilities and not because of the fear of competition. I therefore recommend you to go for Btech , for a better future ahead and more chances of growth then. Best of luck

WHATEVER U R GOING TO OPT WILL HAVE A STRONG COMPETETION BECAUSE IN THIS COMPETITIVE WORLD THE COMPETETION IS NOT FOR PASSING THE DEGREE BUT FOR BRINGING HIGH PERCENTILE FOR BEST RANKS.SPECIALLY IN TECHNICAL FIELD THERE WILL A HARD COMPETETION BUT ONE CAN WIN THE RACE FOCCUSSING ON A GOAL.BOTH ARE BENEFICIAL STREAMS.BCA OR BTECH BOTH HAVE VERY GOOD SCOPES DECIDEC ACCORDING TO UR INTEREST WHAT U WANT TO DO AND OPT FOR THAT COURSE ONLY REMEMBER WHICHEVER COURSE U OPT U HAVE TO WORK HARD.THE TYPE OF JOBS U WANT TO DO CHOOSE YOUR COURSE ACCORDINGLY.

    Don't worry about your result.
You will fight for only 1 seat.
why to think about else ones!
    I think BCA is better.
You should persue MCA after BCA for a better career.

No BCA is nowhere a good option in front of B.Tech as in B.Tech you have a technical degree in your hand which will never leave you jobless. You should definitely go for B.Tech.

B.tech is comparatively a better option than BCA. If you choose BCA then you have to go for MCA. Only then you will be eligible to get a good job. You will need at least 6years to complete these two courses. You will be offered jobs after BCA but it will not be equivalent to jobs offered to an engineering student. So going for B.Tech will be a better option. Since you have scored 62% in your 10+2 you are eligible to write the entrance exam. If you score good marks in entrance test, then it will be very easy to get admission in reputed college. Engineering field has comparatively has a much better scope than MCA. B.Tech will help you to pursue a great career.

No.B.Tech is batter than BCA,because as you know there is a huge demand of engineers, and IT is a growing field so you should choose B.Tech as your first choice. After after B.tech if you do M.tech then it will very helpful for your career and you can get a good package also.

    Hey friend,

Doing B.tech is more opt because you could go in for engineering colleges if you get good marks in entrance exams. If you have do BCA,then you should do MCA for better scope and will get more salary after finishing that only and it would hardly take 6 years. So choose it for yourself.

    Thank you.

No there is no such thing that BCA would be better then B.Tech because of tough competitions.

B.Tech being a Technology and Engineering degree is far better then BCA a normal Computer Application course. Weather subject matter, studies, course matters, or job B.Tech leads every where.

Any good IT Company gives first preference to Engineers then other science graduates if required. A science normal graduate will always find engineering graduates 2 steps ahead. One of the leading aspect of B.Tech is that you can specialize in Hardware Domain as well, whereas having a BCA degree you can not expect so.

Whereas for pay, here also you will find engineers ahead of BCA graduate. Today depending up on present market situation a freshers BCA graduate can expect anything between 8, 000 - 14, 000 per month as starting salary whereas B.Tech fresher can expect 12, 000 - 20, 000 depending up on job designation.

Both are very good & have a lot of scope in the next few years. But if you want to make a choice between them then you should go for the B.Tech one.the opportunities in this field are very wide as you can go in Design,
    Detailed Engineering,
    Procurement, Project Management,
Construction Supervision and Commissioning of Fertilizer & Allied Chemical,
    Refinery,
    Oil & Gas,
    Power,
    Housing/Township ,
    Infrastructure projects.
After next 5 years as our country progresses then there will be no doubt that this option will provide you a handsome salary.

its not like that,,, BCA has no lesser value than Btech as scope is created by people themselves ....if people will choose BCA more than there will b more job opportunities as a company more need people only...n v can also choose any options it completely depends on our interest ...n u may have seen many engineers educated but unemployed .....in my view engineers r lot ...so u should try something different....

Even though both are related to Information Technology , B Tech is a professional course so it will be better to choose the B Tech only.

Also if you selected B Tech you will get higher exposure towards the technical knowledge with high practical knowledge , in B tech you will get lot of mini project where you will get to understand the technical hatch points. The placement opportunities for the the B Tech will be higher compare to the BCA.

And if you go with B Tech you will get lot of opportunities for the research and development areas in top institutes.

As a B.TECH student I can say......that only B.TECH is better than bca yet I think BCA is better than B.TECH if U go for MCA....

...Otherwise .....only BCA is nothing If u want 2 get job in engineer rank.

If U study the syllabus of BCA and B.TECH U'll Find that they R almost same.

Now a days as the I.T is growing the demand of BCA is increasing.

SO DO BCA AND THEN GO FOR MCA. THIS IS THE BEST OPTION.
