    Bank Probationary Officer recruitment procedure? Other opportunities in Banking sector for a B.Tech,MBA(marketing) and PGDM(finance) graduate?

    Hello friends,
    I am an engineer and pursuing last semester MBA - MARKETING and PGDM - FINANCE. I want to join Banking after my study . Can you tell me about PO recruitment or any other banking post jobs for me???????

    The recruitment for 19 public sector banks for the post of PO is through the written test conducted by IBPS. The pattern of this exam is objective type test in English, Test of Reasoning, Test of General Awareness, Numerical Ability and Test of Computer Awareness. The candidates clearing the written test will be provided with a score card. They can apply for various banks through this score card. The concerned banks will recruit the candidates through GD and interview. You can also apply for SBI and other banks too. They also conduct written test and interview for recruitment. You can also apply for various specialized posts on the basis of your B.Tech, MBA and PGDM course. All the banks including private banks advertise the notification of recruitment of specialist officers.

    The recruitment of Probationary officer is purely based on entrance exam as well as interview.If you get passed the exam then you would call for the interview.Exam consist of 4 main subjects that is REASONING,APTITUDE,GK WITH COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE & ENGLISH.Question comes from these subjects only.
    For you the opportunity is good you can apply for PO,Specialist officer like:-IT officer,Technical officer,Marketing officer,HR/Personnel officer.

    Eligibility for PO:-1.Should be graduate with at least 60%
    2.Age should be between 21 to 30 years.
    3.computer knowledge is compulsory.

    Eligibility for IT officer:-1.Degree in computer science/computer application/Information technology/Electronics & telecommunication.
    2.Age must be minimum 20 years & maximum 35 years.

    Eligibility for Technical officer:-Degree in engineering in civil/electrical/mechanical/production/electronics & telecommunication/computer science/IT/textile/chemical.etc

    Eligibility for HR/Personnel:-Graduate from a recognized university or Post graduate degree in personnel.
