Though you have a busy schedule it is a must that you devote some of your time for what you intend to achieve. You must spend atleast 2 hours daily for this test. You are qualified to appear for the bank clerical exam. The banks shall advertise as and when there is a vacancy. You need not wait for the exam date to be announced. Start preparing for the test. You need to be thorough in areas like Mathematics, English, General Knowlege. Practice as many papers as possible. Also you need to keep revising especially your weak areas.

Bank clerk is a good option available to you.
Most of the bank have similar pattern in bank clerk and PO exams.
You need not prepare in different ways for different banks.
The most important thing in these exams is speed as the papers are not that tough.
The competition is very high as lot of people appear in this examination.
You should plan a strategy that works out for you.
There are couple of books available in the market for Reasoning , aptitude, by R S Agrawaal.
You can refer these books. Improve your english and GK. Get previous year solved
question papers of Bank clerk. Remember practice too much & incresase your speed is the

dear friend, as you have completed your B.Com. so you are eligible for bank clerk exam as far as educational qualification is required .But age limit is also there for bank clerk exam which generally is 18 to 28 years. Beside the clerk exam you are also eligible for other posts of banks.Example the recently held PROBATIONARY OFFICERS exam conducted by STATE BANK OF INDIA .It was held on 24 July 2011. For more info click here :

If you are in a job and you want to prepare for clerk and other exams then you must do preparation for it.You can either do preparation with the help of entrance exams book available in market or you can join a good coaching center. The 2nd option would be more helpful as you don't have much time because of job.
So be update about different banks recruitment from time to time .

Re: Bank Clerk exam after B.Com degree

My friend if you want to go for bank clerk post or probationary officers post then you can give bank PO exams in my view to be eligible for that.

These exams are conducted by various Indian banks like SBI, ALLAHABAD BANK, ORIENTAL BANK Of COMMERCE, DENA BANK, PNB, IBPS PO exam.
To be eligible for these exams you must be 20 to 30 years of age with a graduate degree in any discipline with atleast 55% marks. Also you should have completed your 10+2 with atleast 60% marks. The best exam in my view is the IBPS PO exam conducted by IBA with 19 banks collaboration in India. After this exam the score cards are given and based on that score cards cutoff one can apply in any of the 19 participating banks after giving an interview he or she can join. So through one exam you can choose many banks at one go!
Also separate po exams are conducted by SBI, PNB, etc. Also you can apply in them too
    good luck.

Re: Bank Clerk exam after B.Com degree

    My dear,
yes, you could prepare for bank clerk exam.this exam is not so tough but you have to rank good.Actually there is time limit for answering the question so you must make a time record for answering.you just need to check your mind set up that how much time did you take for answering one question otherwise nothing is too hard.you could easily opt for a bank job as well as your studies.

there are some sessions which mainly conducted by all banks in exam....
    -quantitative apptitute
    -general awareness
    -general English
    -reasoning
there must be negative marking that will be deduction of 1/4 mark per wrong answer...

    GOOD LUCK
