Yes off course being an B.Tech(Bachelor of technology) graduate, you are eligible to appear for IAS(Indian Administrative services)
examination.Actually the minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for this exam is that you must be a graduate
(there is no minimum required percentage) from a recognized university(from any discipline).
The students are required to opt for subjects according to their preference in the Mains examination(which is an exam for
which the students are eligible to appear after qualifying the preliminary exams).Generally the students select subjects that they
have already studied during their graduation as they at least have the basic knowledge regarding those subjects.
You can also opt for those subjects that you had already studied during your graduation as you would be more comfortable
    studying them.
