    DEAR SIR,
    i am a phaharmacy graduate, sir is a B PHARM graduate elligible for IAS,IPSentrence examination,pls clear about b pharm degree

    to appear this exam, every candidate must satisfy following eligibility criteria..,,

    1.candidate should be graduate from any stream.
    2.candidate should be passed his graduation with minimum 50 % .
    3.candidate should be citizen of India .
    4.Age limit between 21 to 30 years for open category.
    5. For OBC candidate age relaxation is of 3 years .
    6.For SC/ST candidate age relaxation is of 5 years .

    Civil Service exam(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year:
    Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
    Exam will held on 20th May 2012.

    Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.

    About CSAT Examination -

    Yes, Definitely Pharmacy candidates are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination To become IAS/IPS Officer. So, If you are Interested to become IAS/IPS Officer after completing B.Pharmacy then your eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination.

    This examination was Conducted by UPSC Comission every year and To apply for this examination, you have complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university, Final year Graduate candidates are also apply for UPSC Civil services examination, The examination was Conducted in 2 stages, Preliminary examination and Main examination.

    Preliminary examination are also called CSAT Examination.

    CSAT : Civil services aptitude test, In this examination there are 2 paper and Both are Objective and of same marks and duration. This examination was compulsory for all the candidates, those who cracked this examination are eligible to sit in Main examination. In main examination, you need to choose the Optional Subjects as per your Graduation.

    Dear friend i am also pharmacy student & as you are Pharmacy graduate so it is very pain news that parmacy students are not eligible for IAS/IPS exam but can give exams by takingg any one subject that is mentioned in UPSC syllabus.IAS/IPS exam is conducted every year by UPSC,as te exam is very tough so it requires a lot of hard work.In ias/ips exam pharmacy syllabus is not included but are eligible for exam,you can give exam by optingg any subject from following subjects:-
    CHEMISTRY
    BIOLOGY
    ZOOLOGY
    GEOGRAPHY
    PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
    GGEOLOGY
    PHYSICS

    Above are few subjects through which you can give ias/ips exam althhough there are many other subjects but i had mentioned few only which will be comfort to you.
    ELIGIBLITY:- Eligiblity for IAS/IPS exam is that a candudate must be graduate in any discipline form a UGC recognized university.Candidate must be citizen of India.Age limit is that a candidate must between 21-30 years of age.

    IAS and IPS exams are conducted by UPSC every year....
    the eligibility for UPSC exams or IAS and IPS exam are given below:

    Graduation degree from a recognized university is the educational requirement for UPSC exam.
    Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year,in which you are appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

    Number of Attempts of IAS and IPS exam:
    04 attempts for open or General category students
    07 for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.
    If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.....

    Yeah the B.Pharmacy candidates are eligible to write the IAS/IPS.
    UPSC will hold the IAS/IPS examinations.

    Eligibility conditions:

    >>Nationality:Indian

    >>Age limit:21-30years.Upper age relax able for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

    >>Education qualification:
    You have to pass your graduation with 50% of marks in any recognized university.

    If you fulfill those qualifications you the you are eligible for IAS/IPS.

    my friend,
    The eligibility criteria of IAS is the bachelor degree from recognized university with at least one subject chemistry,geology,mathematics,physics,statastic,zo ology or bachelor degree in agriculture engineering.
    now you are B.pharm graduate student.so it's sure that you have at least one subject in B.pharm.
    so you are eligible for apply for IAS.

    Now let me tell you one thing if you are lookin to b ecome a IAS or IPS officer then you have to appear for the CSAT exam conducted by UPSC.

    And for CSAT exam you have to be a graduate no matter what stream you studied in 12th class,you just need to be a graduate.


    Eligibility for CSAT:

    1.You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam form and not more than 30 years of age,33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs

    2.Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.

    3.You should have a graduate degree from any college which is recognized by UGC, or possess an equivalent qualification.

    4.If you are in the final semester or have taken their final degree exam but are awaiting the results can also appear for the IPS Preliminary examination provided they furnish their proof of degree while filling the Mains form.


    Procedure is follows:

    There will be two written exam and after that interviews will be there .All three are elimination round.You have to perform good in all three rounds.

    From last year some changes have been done to increase the efficiency of the exam. In new pattern
    give special emphasize on the aptitude skills and decision making skills of the participating candidates.
    1.In pre exam two papers will be there,each of two hours a) General studies and b)Optional subject.Objective type questions will be asked.

    2.Main paper comprises of 9 papers,each of three hours.One of the Indian languages,2 papers on general studies ,2 papers on option-1 and 2 papers on optional-2.

    3. In the end interview will be there.Interview will be of 5-7 hrs.

    4.Merit list will be out.

    So my friend you are eligible for the CSAT exam,so prepare hard for the exam,choose any two subjects in which you have interest or which you like most.

    Yes , B.Phram student are applicable for IAS/IPS exam.

    IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam .

    Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.There is no marks criteria for the candidate.

    But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
    In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

    The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    Any degree candidates are allowed to write Civil services which is conducted by UPSC every year. And you are eligible for this if you don't have any active backlogs.

    IAS/IPS both exams are the prominent exams in India which can give you the power to change the circumstances effectively. Here are the details of it..

    The main thing you should know is, the difference in IAS and IPS exam requirements.

    You don't need to have any physical requirements for IAS, but for IPS you must have certain requirements physically.

    Exam pattern:



    Age limits:
    You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.

    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.

    Educational Eligibility

    Graduate in any discipline from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
    You can appear for the Prelims even if the final year's result is awaited provided you produce it while filling the Mains form

    Citizenship Eligibility for IAS

    MUST be a Citizen of India

    Age Eligibility

    Minimum 21 years of age at the time of filling the Prelims form and not more than 30 years for General category
    For OBC candidates between 21 and 33 years of age
    For SC/ST candidates between 21 and 35 years of age

    Attempt

    For General category students not more than 4 attempts including prelims
    For OBC candidates not more than 7 attempts
    For SC/ST candidates no limit on attempts. Only age limit.

    yes u are eligible for IAS
    eligibility criterio for IAS is;-
    Bachelorís degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

    Yes why not, you are eligible for IAS/IPS .IAS/IPS is
    a civil service exam conducted by UPSC per year.
    Eligibility criteria for IAS entrance exam are as follows :-
    1]A candidate should be graduate from any stream.
    2]. A candidate should be citizen of India .
    3]A candidate should be passed his graduation with minimum 50 %
    4]The attempt for clear the Exam is five chance for general/seven chance for OBC/There is no Limit for ST/SC Candidate.
    5] Age limit between 21 to 30 years for open category.
    6]For SC/ST candidate age relaxation is of 5 years .
    7]For OBC candidate age relaxation is of 3 years .

    Important dates for IAS/IPS :-
    1.The notice is published on 4/feb/2012
    2.The last date for Applying the form is 5/march/2012

    Yes, B.Pharmacy graduate are eligible to appear in exams like IAS/IPS entrances. As Civil service Exam can be given by any Graduate Student .So dnt worry about your qualification .

    To become IAS / IPS officer you have to apply for civil service exam which consist of preliminary exam ,main exam and interview
    If you clear preliminary exam only then you will get select for main exam and interview.

    A. Preliminary Examination


    PAPER I: is of 2 hours and 200 marks

    PAPER II:Is of 2 hours and 200

    Both papers will consist of Objective Type questions only.

    B. Main Examination


    PAPER I:

    One of the Indian Languages chosen from the prescribed list is of 3 hours and 300

    PAPER II:Is of English of 3 hours and 300 marks

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS:-

    -- Age limit is 21-30 years. But for SC,ST, OBC upper age limit relaxation is there.

    Physical Standard :-

    Height:
    Minimum height required for men is 165 cm
    Minimum height required for women is 150 cm
    There is a relaxation in height for SC/ST,OBC,Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals etc. candidates for men it is 160cm and for women it is 145 cm.

    EXAM PATTERN:-

    IPS Examination is conducted by UPSC Every year.

    The Examination consist of two parts : 1) Preliminary 2) Main

    Preliminary Examination consist of two papers.

    Both the papers of objective type and each paper consist of 200 marks.

    After completing preliminary Examination.you are qualify for Main Examination.

    Main Examination consist of nine papers and you must clear the all the of levels of Civil Service Examination.
