Yes you can certainly apply for the B.Ed course after B.Com. The CTET has issued notifications that the B.Com candidates can also attend the B.Ed course. The minimum eligibility being a graduation or a post graduation degree from a recognized university or institute. You need to score at least 50% marks in the graduation. There is no age limit for this course. You should attend the entrance exams related to it. If you qualify in the entrance exam, you can join for the B.Ed course.

Re: Are B.Com students eligible for B.Ed Exams or not?

No, a student who is pursuing B.Com is not eligible to pursue B.Ed (regular or even correspondence) at the same time.

The reason being that the minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for B.Ed examinations is a graduation degree. So, any person who has completed
his or her graduation is eligible to appear for B.Ed examinations.
Basically B.Ed is a course which is conducted by various universities and colleges all over India to train people who are desirous of working
as a teacher in various private and government colleges of India. There are many students in our country who have a desire to become a guide or a mentor
for others. In other words we can say that they have a desire to provide quality education to the younger generation of India.

There are many reputed universities in India which offer this course.
Some people feel that they need to pursue this course even after getting a good job.So, to fulfill this very purpose they have the option to pursue their B.Ed from
correspondence mode as while pursuing this course they do not need to worry about their job security.
Another major advantage is that they get an additional degree which proves really helpful for them.

Firstly here are the Eligibility of Bed Entrance exam-
As i seen in many colleges there is no entrance exam for Bed course. But some of the high level education colleges take a small test of Bed here i am giving the Eligibility of the Bed course entrance exam-
Any Candidate who have bachelor degree with 50% marks are eligible for taking admission in Bed course...
and for the SC/ST they required minimum of 45% marks in order to get into any of Bed course colleges..

So as you have completed your B.Com course so you are now graduation candidates means that you have bachelor's degree so i think you are eligible to do Bed course.
So finally in my opinion you can give BEd entrance exams..
