In IBPS clerk cadre exam under quantitative aptitude sections nearly 2 - 4 questions will be asked based on percentage.
The questions based on percentage are not tipical. There will be normal questions and a candidate having general knowledge of percentage, then he can solve it easily.
    Example: 468% of 250 + 139% of 125 = ?

Remember one thing, there is no short cut for success and please do not waste your time in finding methods of short cuts.
There is only one short cut and that is practice and only practice.Try to solve the previous years question papers, taking the time into consideration.
Once you get used to the type of problems being asked in the Bank clerk exams, the time will automatically take care of itself.

There is no short cut for success

    * Try to solve as much as question you can practice a day and try to increase the question in next day.

*Try to understand fully the question you solved that mean go as much deep you can go

*in exam try to put those answers only in which you are sure as negative marking for wrong answer decrease a individual marks a lot

*Be calm and cool in examination hall

*stop reading before 1 hour as it may lead you in confusion......

Re: Any tricks to solve question which are based on Percentages in IBPS Clerk Examination syllabus?

    Hi friend,

Try to resolve them separately and add them up at the end. For example take 468% of 250, first resolve it as (400+50+18)% of 250. It is easy to find 100% of 250 whic is obviously 250 and multiply it with 4 to find 400% of 250 i.e, 4x(100% of 250)= 400% of 250 = 1000. you can also easily find the 50% of 250 i.e., 250/2 =125. To find 18%, you need to further resolve this as (20-2)% of 250. You need to practice these kind of things and you can do it with accurate speed. These kind of problems looks easy but they are time consuming ones. Speed Maths is the only way to deal with these kind of problems.
