The Amrita School of Dentistry is one of the constituent units of Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham. The college started functioning in the year 2003 by offering undergraduate course in dental science. Now the institute imparts education in the field of dentistry at undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma level. It is one of the well reputed and largest Dental colleges in India.

The various dental course curriculums in the college are in accordance with the DCI norms. A number of aspiring students are admitted in the diverse dental courses every year.

Admission Process in Amrita School of Dentistry, Ernakulam

The admission schedule for the courses in the college is decided as per the norms of the University. The Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham organizes an All India Entrance Examination for this admission procedure. Students who seek admission in the BDS or MDS courses in this college must appear and qualify the concerned entrance test. To apply for the BDS course, they must have pursued pass in the senior secondary or equivalent examinations with Biology. The minimum percentage in this qualifying examination should be at least 60% and the age of candidates should not be less than 17 years. To be eligible for MDS course, the aspirants should have pursued BDS from a recognized university.

Fees and deposits

The fee structure and deposits for the dental course in the college is decided according to the rules of the state government. The total fee structure for each course per year is as follows. This includes tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit and other particulars.
