Amity Law College, Delhi

Amity Law College, located in Delhi, is the first Law College organized in Delhi. The institute offers a five year LLB (H) programme. The institute was established with the aim of becoming one of the best colleges in the country. The college was affiliated in 1999 to the Indraprastha University and is approved by the Bar Council of India.

In the independent surveys of various first-rate newspapers, Amity Law college has ranked as one among the top 10 Law colleges in the country. The college offers undergraduate course in LLB (Hons). The duration of the course is five years and includes two semesters in each year.

Admission procedure of Amity Law College

The admission procedure is based on the CET score of the candidates. Only those with a valid CET score are eligible for admission. Some seats are allocated from the management list and that will be on the merit basis. The candidates must have secured a pass in 12th standard from CBSE, Delhi or equivalent. The minimum percentage required is 50% and English should have been one of the compulsory subjects during the course. Also the candidate’s age should be below 21 years.

Infrastructure of Amity Law College

The institute provides its aspirants well structured lecture halls with modern teaching aids. This helps them to effectively interact with their lecturers and also facilitates classroom discussions. The college has a large library with many books on various subjects. This is considered as the traditional lab of the lawyers. It has also a collection of various law reports and journals awarded by many recognized lawyers. The institute has a computer centre with internet access. They also conduct competitions for its students in the moot court hall and it is compulsory for the students to participate.
