Information Regarding NDA Examination.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for the admission into the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force wings of the NDA.

As per UPSC and NDA, the max.age limit to write NDA I exam is 19years. So, by then when the time of NDA I exam your age will be still under 19years.So ,you are eligible.

Once if you clear all the exams in the NDA then you get a job under the government of India.
After a training of one year after selection you get the permanent job.


If you are interested to go for Indian Army then YOU CAN HAVE YOUR INTER FROM ANY STREAM.
BUT, you must have your inter with Physics,Maths,Chemistry Background when you want to go for Airforce or NAVY Wings...

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC in every year for the admission into the different wing of the NDA. If you are interested in the defence field and want to appear in the NDA examination then to appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination.
->Pass 12th class or appearing 12th class.
->The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
->Unmarried male candidates.
->Physically fit.

This is the basic eligibility criteria for the NDA examination. As per your question you are eligible to apply for the NDA examination. The notification for the upcoming NDA examination will comes on 31th December 2011. Pattern of the examination ::

Total marks in which you will be judged will be out of 1800 which is divided as ::

Written examination ->900 MARKS

Written examination consist of two papers ::

Paper I:: It carries 300 Marks and is of maths and duration of the examination is 2-1/2 hours

Paper II ::It carries 600 marks and duration of the examination is 2-1/2 hours .It consist of English and General ability paper.

General Ability Test will be broken into 6 parts. The allocated marks are:

Physics – This topic will carry 100 marks.
Chemistry – This topic will carry 60 marks.
General section – This topic will carry 40 marks.
History, Freedom Movement – This topic will carry 80 marks.
Geography – This topic will carry 80 marks.
Current Events – This topic will carry 40 marks.

Eligibility for the exam ::

Interested candidates must have passed class 12th examination in any streams for the ARMY

If you are interested in joining NAVY and AIR FORCE then you must have physics and maths as a compulsory subjects in class 12th

You must have born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible.Since you are born on 15th December 1993 which means that you are not eligible for the exam.

NDA Exam is conducted by UPSC 2 tmies in a year .

It is normally held in month of May and July

Notifiacation for NDA I Exam is made in the month of october .
