    Am I eligible to write civil service exam after completing my Degree course in correspondence?

    if iam complete my degree in correspondance it will be eligible to write civil service exam....

    so when you compleate your graduation in correpondence you are eligible to write civil exams but you are from corresponce so it was diffent from civil ,so if you work hard on genaral awairness and civil information you can made it.

    Yes ofcourse you can apply for this exam and even candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination. .

    yes you are fully eligible for take part in civil service examination once you get passed your graduation.you can also eligible for take civil service examination in the final year appearing in exams.

    Yes Obviously you can apply for any of the government services after completing your graduation from correspondence or distance learning. According to supreme court rules all the mode of education will be considered at the same level at least for government forms such as IAS, IPS, PCS ans many more...

    YES you are eligible for Civil services examination.

    Indian civil services which is the main department for governing all the government bodies that run the Central and State Government. There are 3 types of services recruited through civil services namely
    1. All India services
    2. Central services
    3. State services

    UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) conducts the Civils exam every year and it mainly held in 3 rounds.
    1. Prelims ( held in May )
    2. Main ( held in October / November )
    3. Interview ( held in March / April )

    Eligibility :

    Educational Qualification :

    You must have completed your Degree , recognized by Indian government from any recognized university with minimum percentage of marks.

    Age Criteria :

    when you compleat your graduation, you are eligable to write civil exams .you are doing degree in correspondence it was different from civil, but if you work hard on current affairs and general awairness it will help you lot.so do this for your civils

    You can write CIVILS exams even if you are completing your graduation in correspondence - But, you must complete through a Recognized University from India.

    surely if you passed B.E completion,then you can and eligible for civil service exam

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
    you should have pass your bachelor degree from recognized university.

    AGE LIMIT
    21 to 30 years.

    civil service exam is challengable exam and also at some tough level.so you have to prepare nicely with some methods and technique.

    Once you completed your Graduation Degree , then that is enough for you for attending Civil Service Examinations .

    It does not matter in which base you have completed Graduation i.e either Regular or Correspondence , but your only degree will be considered .

    So as per these statements , you are positively eligible for appearing for CIVIL SERVICE Examinations .

    But your age must be above 21 and must not exceed 30 yrs for appearing for Civil Examinations(for General Candidates) .
    There is 5yrs Age Relaxation for SC/ST Candidates .
    There is 3yrs Age Relaxation for OBC and Defensive Service Personnel Candidate .

    You must be a Graduate from a Recognized University in any Discipline .

    The Civil Exams are conducted in three Formats :

    Prelims
    Main &
    Interview

    Civil Service exam is held once in year, this exam is part of Civil service exam and exam is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility criteria for Civil Service exam:
    Candidate should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university. Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates,21to 33 year for OBC category candidates,21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates

    Number of attempts:
    4 attempts for General category candidates.
    7 attempts for Obc category candidates
    Unlimited attempts for SC/ST category candidates.

    Important dates for Civil Service-2012 exam:
    Civil Service(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year:
    Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
    Exam will held on 20th May 2012.
    Civil Service Service (Main Exam) notification for this year:

    Yes, Definitely you are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination after completing your Graduate degree course in Correspondence. Firstly, no where is mentioned that only Regular degree candidates are eligible for Civil services examination. If you have completed your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University, then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

    This examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year in 2 stages :

    >> Preliminary examination
    >> Main examination

    Firstly, you have to cracked the Preliminary examination only then you are eligible to apply for Main examination.

    Preliminary examination is Objective and there are 2 papers in this examination and both are of same marks and duration, those who cracked the Preliminary examination are eligible to appear for Main examination.

    Main examination is Descriptive one and there are 9 papers in this examination and you have to choose the Optional Subjects on the Basis of Graduation. The List of Optional Subjects is Availiable in the official website of UPSC or in the Notification.

    Dear friend.


    Civil services exams are the most competitive exams of India.


    To be eligible for the exam:
    *you must be a citizen of India/nepal/bhutan
    *you must be a graduate degree holder in any discipline. There is no minimum percentage criteria as such.
    *you must be 21 to 30 years of age. There is 3 to 10 years of age relaxation for the SC/ST category
    *You can attempt the exam just 4 times for the general category, and 7 times for the OBC candidates. The SC/ST candidates can attempt the exam unlimited no. of times.


    That means the candidates with any type of degree in any stream and mode may it be regular or correspondence can go for the exam!!!

    The exam is conducted in the fololwing two stages:

    Definitely you can appear for Civil service exam after the completion of your Degree course. For IAS, one has to appear for civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

    Here is the selection procedure for IAS Exam.
    -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
    -Civil Services Main Examination
    -Interview

    Here is the eligibility criteria for Civil Service Exam

    Academic qualification :
    -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
    -Even the final year candidates of qualifying examination who have appeared for the exam and waiting for the results are also eligible to apply for the exam.

    Age criteria :

    -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for IAS Exam.
    -Relaxation upto 3 years in upper age limit for the candidates of OBC.
    -Relaxation upto 4 years in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST.

    I suggest you to complete your arrear in diploma and try to finish your degree with good percentage of marks. Choose the optionals now itself and try to improve knowledge on those subjects in addition to your academic studies.
