    iam studying 3rd B.E. civil . am i eligible to write exam on 2013,because my course completion will be on 2013 can i able to write exam on that year of may plz tell me soon.

    To apply for the exam you must be a citizen of India .

    Age ::

    For 2013 Exam you must be 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013

    For OBC candidates 21 - 33 Years

    For SC/ST candidates 21 - 35 Years
    .


    Qualification::

    Must have a degree form any Indian University or other educational institution which is recognized from Government Of India .

    You can even apply if you are in your final year of degree
    .


    Number Of Attempts ::

    You can attempt 4 times for general candidates .

    7 attempts for OBC candidates.

    There is no limits for SC/ST candidates.

    Yes, you are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination in 2013, When you are Pursuing your Final year Degree course, so you are not eligible to apply for next year civil services examination because you are Pursuing your 3rd year degree course, and to apply for civil services examination, you have to complete your Final year degree course OR Pursuing Final year degree course because appearing candidates are also apply for Civil services examination.

    This examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year in 2 Stages, preliminary examination and Main examination. Preliminary examination are Objective and main examination is descriptive. Preliminary examination are also called CSAT Examination and there are 2 papers in preliminary examination and both are of same marks and duration.

    Those who cracked the Preliminary examination are eligible to appear for Main examination.

    For Main examination, you have to choose the Optional Subjects on the basis of Graduation.

    Eligiblity Criteria :

    >> You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University.

    >> Final year graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for Civil services examination.

    >> There is no minimum percentage is required to apply for this examination.

    >> You must have attained the age of 21 years and no have attained the age of 30 Years.

    About Notification and How to Apply :

    Notification of Civil services examination will be Published in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website in the Month of February.

    For next year examination will be published on 04/Feb/2012.

    Last date of apply for this examination : 05/March/2012

    Preliminary examination : 20/May/2012.

    >> Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online By visit the official website, You have to pay the fees Through SBI NET Banking OR Submit fees direct in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill the Online application form Online. But you are Not eligible for Next year examination.

    So please apply for this examination in 2013, Till then please prepare well for this examination.

    >> For General Candidates : 4 Attempts

    Yes absolutely you are eligible to apply for Civil Service examination in 2013,candidates who are studying in the final year of degree can also apply for this examination but 3rd year candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination.So,if your interested final year of degree course you can apply for this examination OR after completing of this examination.

    This examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year,this examination is divided into three parts :- Preliminary,Main and Interview.

    Preliminary examination are objective type and main examination are descriptive type,those who are cleared the preliminary examination,the candidates are called for the main examination.Main examination can be divided into 9 papers and there is one papers also available for the candidates.There is a 25 optional papers are available in Main examination,you can select any of the subject as optional.

    Hi dude,

    Yes you can apply for civil service exam after your B.ed exams in 2013.

    The minimum qualification needed to apply for civil service exam is having a Degree from a reconized university.

    As you have already compleated your graduation you are eligible to apply for this exam.

    Civil services include IAS,IPS,IFS etc services..

    For apply for this exam you need to citizen of INDIA.

    Your age should not be less than 21 (or) not more than 30 years.

    If you belong to SC/ST then age criteria is 21-35 and for OBC it is 21-33.

    You can also apply if you are in the final year of your graduation.

    Yes you will surely be eligible to appear for the Civil services Exam for the year 2013.

    CSAT abbreviated as Civil Services Admission test is Conducted by the UPSC . The Notifications about the exam is given in the employment newspapers or it is updated in the official website.



    The Exam is divided into 2 sections Preliminary and Main the Preliminary Exam consists of 2 papers and each of them carries 200 Marks with a duration of 2 hours for each exam. The main exam Consists of 7 papers and has a weight age of 2000 Marks with a duration of 3 Hours for each exam. the Syllabus that are included in the exam are Mathematics, History, Geography, General Awareness, Indian Languages and essays.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    >> You must be a citizen of India.

    Age Limits:
    >> Your Minimum age must be 21 years and maximum age must be 30 years in case you are from General Category.
    >> Age Relaxation For OBC is 3 years.
    >> Age Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years.

    Educational Qualification:
    >> You must be a graduate from A Recognized University With a minimum of 60%.
    >> Final Year students can also apply for the exam.

    Yes, you can apply in 2013 Civil Service exam because final year graduate student are eligibly to write this exam.
    Civil service exam scheduled by UPSC every year for different services.

    This exam held in 3 terms --
    Preliminary exam
    Main Exam
    Interview

    Step by step you have to pass out the exams.Only after passing Prelims exam you can write main exam.If you do not clear prilims then again you will have to give prilims exam.

    To write this exam your graduation should be complete in any stream by any recognised university.If you are in final year of graduation then you can also give this exam.

    You must fullfill the given age criteria for this exam - 21 to 30 years.Relexation is there in age on category wise.

    Candidate belongs to general category can write this exam 4 times,OBC's can write 7 times and SC/ST has no limit to write this exam.

    Notification for Civil Service exam will come in the month of February.

    Civil Services Examination is the most prestigious examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various All India Services including I.A.S., I.P.S.,I.F.S.,I.R.S., and various Group A Services and Group B Services.

    Normally applications are invited by UPSC notifications in leading News Papers during December every year.

    The Civil Services Examination consists of three stages :

    1. Civil Services Preliminary Examination ( Objective Type) (Usually conducted in May)
    2. Civil Services Main Examination (Written) (Conducted during October/November)
    3. Interview and final Selection (During April/May)

    1. Minimum Educational Qualification :

    Degree of any recognized university. However candidates studying in final year examination may apply for Preliminary. When he applies for Main Examination, he shall be a Graduate. But the following Engineering discipline are eligible :-

    Yes, you are eligible. You can write civil exams in the final year. So, you are eligible in 2013 while doing your final year. UPSC-Union Public Service Commission conducts CIVILS every year.

    Eligibility is:


    You must be a citizen of India.

    Age limits:
    You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

    Attempts :

    Age ::

    For 2013 Exam you must be 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013

    For OBC candidates 21 - 33 Years

    For SC/ST candidates 21 - 35 Years .

    sir i have got 48.8% in 12 th due to some illness but i can score better in my graduation can i apply for C-SAT

    No , you are not eligible for Civil Services Examination as you have mentioned ,you are the student of B.Tech 3rd year.

    According to UPSC Civil Services Examination only graduation complete or final year candidates of graduation are eligible .

    UPSC every year conducted Civil Services examination.

    The Civil services examination consist of two steps :
    Preliminary
    Mains
    and the Mains qualified are called for Perssonal Interview round.

    Educational qualification :

    the candidates must have Graduation degree of a recognized university.

    Age limit :
    21 years to 30 years for General candidates .

    21 to 33 years for OBC candidates.

    21 to 35 years for sc or st candidates.

    No. Of attempts allowed :
    gen 4 times
    obc 7 times
    sc or st ,no limit.

    So you can try next time for Civil services examination.

    Presently keep focus on your Engineering studies.
