    Am I eligible for teaching or IAS exam at the age of 27 years?

    I am doing B.A. in economics and I am 27years old.I have started my studies late and I want to apply for any kind of government exam.Can I able be eligible for IAS, or teaching exam.kindly help me in this matter.

    Hi Friend................

    Yes, you are eligible for IAS Examination as per your educational qualification

    First you can appear for Civil Examination

    Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones,

    For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there

    if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination

    Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination


    Educational Qualification

    >> Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university,

    >> Final year students also eligible for this examination

    >> There is no percentage required for this examination

    Age Limit

    >> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates

    5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

    3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

    Nationality

    >> Candidates should be a citizen of India

    Selection Procedure

    ** Preliminary Examination

    ** Mains Examination

    ** Interview Test

    No.of Attempts

    >> Maximum 7 attempts for general candidates

    >> Maximum 4 attempts for OBC Candidates

    **) i will suggest you to write IAS exam.

    *) the age limit is 21 to 30 years.

    *) 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

    *) 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates.

    *) the educational qualification: the candidate should pursue any bachelor's degree from any recognized university.

    You are eligible for the Both

    And for I.A.S ... you must follow the below eligibility criteria


    You must be an INDIAN

    You must have a minimum of GRADUATION

    The minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    You must be an Indian Citizen

    Hey friend,

    At the age of 27 years you can apply for the IAS exam which is one of the Indian Civil Service exam and this exam is being carried out by UPSC and is held every year.

    You are satifsying the needed age limit for the exam as being 27 years old.

    The age limit needed for the IAS exam is that the candidate must have 21-30 years of age.

    There are certain upper age relaxation for other category candidates.

    The other criteria's which are needed to be satisfied along with the education qualification are:

    >> You need to be a Citizen of India

    >> The Education qualification which is needed for the IAS exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from any discipline from a recognized university with a fair percentage.


    The candidate who satisfy all these above mentioned criteria for the exam is eligible fro applying for the exam

    Hi dude....

    Dude you should not cross the age of 30 years for appearing to the IAS recruitments and as you are of the 27 years you can appear for the civil services recruitments and can appear for the IAS/IPS...

    The IAS is the one of the Indian Administrative Services which are conducted for the recruitment in to the civil services and these examinations are generally conducted by the UPSC board of the recruitment and the candidates who had completed the graduation can appear for these recruitments...

    The UPSC conducts the civil services recruitments which are conducted and these recruitments are done one year long selection procedures and the candidates who wish to enter in to the civil services must have to follow some of the other eligibility criteria also to be followed for appearing to the civil services recruitments...
    some of the requirements for appearing to the IAS selections are...
    *Age limit-
    Should have attained the age of 21 years and should not exceed 30 years
    age relaxations are also for other categories of the candidates such as...
    Sc/St-5 years
    OBC-3 years
    PH-10 years
    *Educational Qualifications-
    Should have completed the graduation or the bachelor degree in any of the stream of study for appearing to the civil services recruitments/....
    *Nationality-
    Should belong only to the citizen of India only...

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year .This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

    Educational Qualification :-

    Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university , the final year students also eligible for applying preliminary examination .There is not required any specific marks criteria for IAS exam.

    Age criteria :-


    Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates .Age relaxation is given below -

    5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
    3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
    10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
    5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

    ### Your age now 27 years old so you are applicable for IAS Exam .

    Attempt Limit:-

    General Candidate can maximum 4 Times

    Yes you can be eligible for IAS course

    IAS is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC board
    The age limit for civil service exam is 21-30 years, relaxation for 3years for obc, relaxation for 5years is given for sc/st's
    the no.of chances for filling the form is general category-4, obc-7 and no limit for sc/st
    candidates must complete graduation from recognized board in India.
