With B.E degree, it is not possible to write SET exam. The next best option will be to join for a PG course. You can take up PG in any subject. 55% marks in PG level is essential for this. You can apply for this exam via online. If you are able to qualify and attain a good score in SET, you will become eligible to apply for lecturer posts in colleges in West Bengal. You can apply for Professor/Assistant Professor posts in any of the colleges in W.B as and when the vacancy comes in. On the basis of SET score, short listing will be done. If short listed, P.I and teaching demo can be attended.

    Hi...............
For SET examination you must have post graduation degree from a recognized university.
SET stands for State Eligibility Test.
This examination is held for lecturer past and JRF post with in state only.

After qualifying IN SET examination you can apply for lecturer post in any colleges for state in which you have applied.

You must have 55% in post graduation .

So if you wish to apply for SET than than you must have post graduation degree.

    Thanks
