Re: Am I eligible for NET SET Exam if I have only 59% in PG Course?

Yes, definitely you are eligible. The essential qualification required for NET SET Exam is post graduation with minimum 55% marks in the same. There is 5% relaxation of marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. The candidates who are pursuing the final year of PG studies are also eligible. NET exams are conducted by UGC where as SET exams are conducted by state PSC. Though the exams seems rather tough to get through it offers a lot of benefits. The same helps the candidate to involve with research in top educational institutions and to get in to the role of professor or lecturer in Colleges.
