    Yes , M.Sc in IT candidate are applicable for NET Exam.because this degree is equivalent to masters degree.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

    Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

    For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

    For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

    NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

    NET EXAM DATE 2012 IN JUNE SESSION=>

    Date of Start for Online Submission: 21-02-2012

    Date of Close of Online Submission: 21-03-2012

    Last Date of Receipt of Duly Completed Hard Copy of Online Application Forms: 26-03-2012

    Last Date of Receipt of Duly Completed Hard Copy of Online Application Forms(From Remote Areas): 02-04-2012

    Exam Date: 17-06-2012

    Yes,
    You are eligible for NET After MSC(IT).
    NET exam is conducted by UGC every year.
    Eligibility for NET is master degreee.
    student are in final year are also eligible.

    Yes, If you have completed your Post graduate degree course OR pursuing your Final year Post graduation then you are eligible for NET Examination. NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is conducted by UGC, Twice in a year for the post of Lectureship OR Junior Research Fellowship post.

    If your aim is to become a Lecturer in some good colleges, then you have to cracked the NET Examination.

    The Notification of this year NET Examination was already published and the last date of apply for this examination is 30/April/2012. The examination is going to be conducted soon on 26/June/2012. Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online only. No offline application form facility is availiable for any candidates.

    Before filling the online application form, you must have these documents with you to fill online application form :

    ~~ Scanned Photograph
    ~~ Pay slip of Challan form.

    The application form fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank. The challan form you can easily download from the official website of UGC.

    Age Eligibility :

    ~~ You have to attained the age of 19 years to apply for NET Examination
    ~~ There is no upper age restriction to apply for Lectureship Post
    ~~ For Junior Research Fellowship post, your age should not be more than 28 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    To apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course with minimum 55% Marks, final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NET.

    All the papers of NET is Objective and all 3 papers is conducted in same day in 2 session, There is no negative marking in the examination.     Yes of course , if you are completed or appearing in the final semester may also eligible to apply for this examination .


    NET Stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted twice in a year by University Grants Commission . In the month of June and December . This examination is conducted for Lectureship and Junior Research fellowship post .

    This year June notification was already published in the official website of UGC , other leading news papers and check 12 / April / 2012 employment news paper .

    Last date for receipting the online application on 30 / April / 2012 and the examination will be held on 26 / June / 2012 . Interested candidate may fill the online application from UGC and there is no offline application facility of NET examination . Pay the fees through Bank Challan , Bank Challan was available in the official website . Download the bank challan pay the fees . Fees details mentioned below.

    Fees of NET exam :-

    • Gen :- 450 /-
    • OBC :- 225 /-
    • Reserved categories :- 110 /-

    Pay the fees through direct SBI Branches .

    Qualification Required for NET Exam :-

    You should have a finished your master degree with 55% aggregate marks and 50% aggregate marks for reserved categories . Completed Master degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and those who are appearing in the final year of master degree course may also eligible to apply .
