    You are eligible for appearing NET exam UGC

    UGC states Three conditions for NET exam eligibility:
    1. You must have 55% marks in PG level ( since you have got first class)
    2. Your university/College must be a recognized one ( pl.check out)
    3. Your age limit should be not more than 28 years

    NET exams are conducted Twice each year, in June and in December


    Qualification Criteria for NET exam
    The candidates must have completed Post Graduation in the desired subject.
    They must have secured Masterís Degree with a minimum of 55% from any reputed college under UGC recognition.
    The candidates appearing for last semester exam can even attend NET exam.
    Thirty Five years is the maximum age limit.
    There is relaxation of 3 years OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    Application Procedure for NET exam
    The candidates have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC. print outs of filled in online application form, exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificate(s) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

    Yes you are eligible for NET.
    UGC conducts two time in one year the examination of net.
    The exam held in the month of June and december.
    The notification is available in the month of march and September.
    Educational qualification:
    you must have graduation degree
    from a recognized university.
    You should have 55% in master degree course.
    For sc/st/vh/ph category only 50% is required.
    Age limit for net:
    no age limit is required for applying lecturer post.
    You have to apply online for examination.
    Fees of applicant form:
    for general:
    Rs 450
    for obc:
    Rs 225
    for sc/st:
    Rs 110

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

    You have completed Masters degree through correspondence so you are eligible for NET Exam.

    For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

    For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.There is no restriction for attempts NET exam.

    From this year NET Pattern will be changed .I have listed the details about that.

    Definitely you are eligible to apply for NET Examination if you have a recognized Correspondence degree with you. It is not mentioned in the notification that only Regular candidates are eligible for NET. If you have completed Pot graduate degree course with minimum 55% marks, then definitely you are eligible to apply for NET.

    NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is conducted by UGC, twice in a year the examination is conducted in June and December every year.

    Post graduation is the minimum eligibility set by UGC.

    The examination is conducted for the post of Lectureship and Junior Research fellowship. There is no maximum age limit to apply for Lectureship. But if you are interested to apply for JRF then your age not be more than 28 years.

    You have to choose any 1 Subject in NET on the basis of your Post graduation.

    There are total 3 papers in this examination and all are objective and compulsory. The first paper is same for all candidates and rest two papers is based on the subject you choose.

    The syllabus and Previous year papers of NET is available in the official website. You can easily download from the website, there are lots of books also available in the book stores in now a days. If you face any problem to prepare yourself in home then you can also join some best NET Coaching center near by your city.
