Yes , off course you are eligible for NET (National Eligibility Test) even after completing MBA(Masters of Business Administration) from correspondence mode.
NET is an exam conducted by UGC(Union Grants Commission) all over India to select candidates who are suitable for lectureship. This exam makes a candidate eligible for appointment as a lecturer in
any governmental or non governmental organisation. So, in this way this exam makes you eligible to apply for the post of a lecturer in some of the most reputed colleges of India as all the leading universities of India require this qualification to be appointed as a lecturer.

The following points are important in this regard:-
1)A person at any age can appear for this exam as there is no age limit to appear for NET exam. This is a additional benefit provided by the government to the candidates who want to pursue lectureship.

Whether the course was done as a regular or distance education will not be problem in taking this exam. Hi...The Qualifications required for the NET Exam is ,One should pass in master degree with minimum of 55% marks .It is applicable to OB C and general category students.
The students having reservation ST/SC and Physically handicapped should have at least 50% marks .
Only those candidates, who have completed or pursuing a UGC specified degree , are eligible to appear for NET examination.
After NET exams one can be appointed as a lecturer.

Yes you can apply for the NET exam as far the education qualification for NET,the candidates must have degree in post graduate.

The candidates who are JRF will have to age limit of 19-28 years.For SC/ST/VH/PH it is 5 years exception.

The candidates must have 55% aggregate in post graduation and for SC/ST/VH/PH it is 50%.

The candidate must appear with the post graduation only.

The exam consists of 3 papers with 1st paper consisting of general nature and 2nd paper based on the subject selected by the candidate and 3rd paper will consist of only descriptive questions from the subject selected by the candidate.
