    NET exam is conducted by Union Grant Commission every year twice to provide Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship post for qualified students.

    To appear for NET exam,you should have completed post graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should not exceed 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship.

    After fulfill with this criteria,you will eligible to apply for NET exam.NET exam notification release in the month of March and September every year and exam will held on June and December month every year respectively.

    You have completed MCA degree so you are applicable for NET exam from Computer Science Background.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

    For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

    For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

    NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

    From this year NET exam pattern should be change and the pattern may be this type.

    For Paper I-

    It's has 60 Question.Out of 60 Question , you can answered 50 Question.Total marks of this paper is 100 marks.The time duration for this session is 1¼ Hours (09.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.)

    For Paper II-

    It has 50 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 100 marks.The time duration for this session is 1¼ Hours (10.45 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.)

    For Paper III-

    It has 75 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 150 marks.The time duration for this session is 2½ Hours (01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.)

    yes you are eligible after MCA.

    NET after MCA:NET entrance test for the government jobs of professor in the government collages and jobs in the many other government sectors like:bsnl etc..



    NET Eligibility:
    1.appearing or passing the master degree in engineering with atleast 60% marks.
    2.age between the 21 to 30 years.

    Yes, you are certainly eligible for NET Exam after doing MCA. But you must have 55% in your MCA to do NET exam.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it's conducted by UGC(Under Graduate Commission) every year twice.

    You must have PG with min.55%

    There are 2types of Posts in NET:
    1)Lectureship post(LS)

    Application Procedure for NET:

    National Eligiblity Test


    NET examination is conducted every year by UGC .The examination is conducted two times in a year generally in the month of June and December every year.You can not apply for the December examination but you apply for the june examination

    Notification for the June examination has been announced .Only those students who have done post graduation can apply for the exams.

    ELIGIBLITY

    Those students who have got master’s Degree with 55% from universities recognised by UGC you can apply for the examination .Since you have done MCA which means that if you have got more then 55% marks then you can apply for the exam.

    Final year students are also take the exam.

    Those students who are applying for the Junior Research Fellowship should be not more than 28 years. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to SC, ST and for OBC candidates.

    Those students who are applying for the Lectureship there is no upper age limit for the examination .

    Pattern of the examination :

    This time the examination is of objective types .The Test will consist of three papers of only objective type questions .

    The three papers will be conducted in two session.

    Paper I :Will contain the following questions :

    Reasoning ability
    Comprehension
    Divergent thinking
    General awareness.

    Paper II and Paper III will be based on the optional subjects chosen by the candidates .

    Important dates :

    Application Submission Start Date : 29-3-2012
    Application Submission End Date : 25-4-2012

    UGC NET(National Eligibility Test) has the eligibility criteria of minimum 55% in your master degree. So if you have it you can definitely sit for UGC NET. This 55% means that your percentage cannot be 54.99 and has to be 55% and more.

    For its junior research fellowship(JRF) examination there is an age limit of 28 years with a 5 year relaxation for reserved category.
    But for lectureship there is no age limit.

    UGC NET exam is conducted for lecturer post .

    You need to be a graduate from UGC reconized university.

    If you are a P.HD holder then no need to clear UGC NET exam.

    You need to be citizen of INDIA.

    You need to secure minimum of 55% in your graduation.

    You are in final year of graduation then also you are eligible to write this exam.

    Your age should not be more than 28 years.

    If you belong to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories you have age relaxation upto 5 years.

    MCA stands for Master in Computer Application and the duration of this course is 3 years and it is Post graduate degree course and after completing this course you are eligible for NET Examination.

    NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is conducted by UGC, twice in a year to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). If your aim is to become Lecturer in some top University/Colleges, then you have to cracked the NET Examination, NET Candidates will gets good salary package in top colleges.

    NET Examination is Conducted in JUNE and DECEMBER every year.

    For this year June NET Examination Notification was already Published and the last date of apply for this examination was already over. The examination is Going to be conducted soon on 24/June/2012.

    If you have missed the chance then please apply for December NET Examination. The Notification of December NET Examination will be Published soon in the month of October. Eligible candidates may fill the application form online only. Before fill the online application form you are required to download the Bank Challan Performa from the UGC website and then deposit the requisite test fee in any branch of State Bank of India along with the bank charges.

    Before applying you must have these documents with you:

    ~~ Scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb
    ~~ Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt).

    After filling the online application form completely, you have to print the application form and then send it to the examination centers of UGC in which you want to appeared for the test.

    The application form fees of NET examination is Rs 450.

    MCA candidates can choose Computer application subjects in NET Examination, the syllabus and previous year papers is available in the official website. You can download the syllabus for preparation.

    There are 3 papers in NET Examination and all are objective and there is no negative marking in the examination.

    So, If you have completed your Post graduate degree course then you are eligible for NET Examination.

    You have to attained the age of 19 years to apply for NET Examination. There is no age restrictions to apply for Lectureship post, But for Junior Research Fellowship post, your age should not be more than 28 years.     You are eligible to give NET if you:-
    1. Post graduation from your desired stream.

    Now,let me tell you about Structure and Pattern of NET exam.
    For both lectureship and JRF same question paper is prepared by UGC. It constitutes subjects as follows;

    • Paper I -Objective Type- General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Methods (50 questions) – 100 Marks
    • Paper II- Objective Type – Core Subject (50 questions)- 100 Marks
    • Paper III- Descriptive Type – Core Subject – will have four sections. Section 1- 5x5= 25 marks (30 words), Section 2 –15x5=75 marks (30 words), Section 3- 5x12= 60 marks (200 words) and Section 4- 1x40= 40 marks(1000 words)
    Grand Total = 400 marks

    Paper I & II constitutes the first half. It is conducted during day time. Paper III, the next half is conducted afternoon. There is no negative marking for objective questions.

    The application fee for NET is Rs 450/-.

    The next NET exam is going to be held on 24th june,2012 but its application time is over now.
    So,you can appear for it in December attempt.
    The notifications regarding December exam will be issued in October Month.
    So,please be careful regarding the notifications.

    Dear friend , yes you are eligible for NET after completion of Your MCA.

    NET exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year to determine the eligibility of entrants for lectureship or to award JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).

    You Can appear in NET exam if you fulfills the below mentioned criteria:

    * You must have completed your post graduation with any discipline from any recognized university.

    * You must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in your post graduation.

    * If you are in the final year of your post graduation , you can aaply for the same.

    After completing MCA degree , you are eligible to apply for NET Examination .

    NET Stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year . This year notification was already out and the examination details was avilable in the official website .

    Eligibility Criteria :-

    To apply for this examination , candidate should have a completed master degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification .

    The candidate should have a completed master degree with any desire subject and there is no restriction about the specific subjects .

    Candidate must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in their examination and 50% aggregate marks for reserved categories .

    Those who are appearing in the final year of master degree may also eligible to apply for this examination and pre-final year of degree may not eligible to apply for this examination .

    Notification was already released and last date for receipt of application on 04/05/12 .

    Age should not more than 28 years and relaxation is applicable for reserved categories . 5 years for SC/ST?OBC and other candidates .

    No upper age limits for Lectureship candidates .

    The examination will be held on 24/06/12 .

    Next Notification will be publish on the Sept OR OCt in the official website of UGC as well as employment news papers .

    For giving UGC NET u need to have a master Degree with minimum 55% of marks. You can choose any subject from your master degree.UGC NET consists of three papers
    1) General studies (50 objective questions)
    2) Your optional paper (50 objective questions)
    3) Your optional paper (Subjective questions)

    For Junior Research Fellowship-max 28yrs.
    For lectureship-no upper age limit.

    NET exam stands for national eligiblity test which is conducted by university grant commision.
    NET EXAM ELIGIBLITY:-
    Masters in subject from recognized university with at least 55% marks.
    Age limit
    For Lecturer ship - There is no age limit to apply for Lecturer ship.
    Many institutions or universities offer Ph.d consider
    NET examination qualification for short listing the candidate for INTERVIEW/FINAL SELECTION done for Ph.d course .

    Yes you are eligible for NET examination after opting MCA degree.

    The candidates those who have completd Post Graduation course with 55 % or above can apply for NET examination.

    The above mentioned percentage is applicable for general and OBC category candidates.

    For SC or ST the required percentages is 50 % .

    Less than below are not allowed.

    Age limit :
    Juninor Research Fellowship : Maximum age limit is 28 years ,after this age limit candidates are are permitted to apply for JRF post.

    For Lectruership post :
    No Upper age is specified.

    You have to fill the application form online on UGC website given link.
    And pay the fees through Bank challan.

    Application fees :
    general : Rs 450 , OBC : Rs 225 ,sc or st : Rs 110.

    Question paper pattern :
    the question are of Objective types only .
    No Descriptive type question.

    Yes you can eligible for this exam.

    Eligibility criteria for UGC NET Exam ;

    For this exam minimum master in qualification from UGC approved college/University.

    And minimum 55% marks in master course.

    There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing only for eligibility for lectureship.

    If you apply for Junior Research Fellowship should not be more than 28 years of age as on the first day of the month in which the NET Examination is to be held.

    Age relaxation for JRF: Age relaxation up to 5 years is available to SC/ST/OBC/ Physically Handicapped (PH) / Visually Handicapped (VH) / Women candidates.
