    FRIEND,

    NET stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST and this test is conducted for selecting candidates for the LECTURESHIP and Junior research Fellowship.

    Yes you are eligible to appear for the NET exams conducted by UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION.
    The eligibility criteria for the NET exam is given below.

    THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS:

    1)You must have completed Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from university recognized by UGC.

    2)If you are in the final year of the Master's Degree then also you are eligible for the exam.

    3)IF you have done P.HD then also you are eligible.

    4)You must have secured the minimum of 55% marks in Master's degree and A 5% relaxation in marks in given to the Reserved category candidates.

    5)AGE CRITERIA:

    5.1 For Junior Research Fellowship: You should not be more than 28 years as on 01.12.2011. 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories candidates and to women applicants.

    5.2 Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.

    The test consists of three papers and papers will be held on 24th December 2011 (SATURDAY)
    the test is conducted in two sessions.

    First I 100 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.)
    First II 100 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON)
    Second III 200 2½ Hours (01.30 P.M. to 04.00 P.M.)

    PAPER-I is to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate

    PAPER-II: Multiple choice type questions.

    Paper-III will consist of only descriptive questions from the subject selected by the candidate.

    NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is conducted by UGC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course with minimum 55% Marks, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

    If you have completed your Post graduate degree course in Mechanical Engineering then you are eligible to apply for CSIR NET Examination.

    The notification of this year examination was already published and the last date of apply for this examination was already over. If you have not applied for this examination, then you have missed the chance.

    The examination is conducted every year and there is no restrictions in age for Lectureship Post. But you have to attained the age of 19 years to appear for the examination.

    The Test will be held in the subjects as given under:

    ~~ Chemical Sciences
    ~~ Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences
    ~~ Life Sciences
    ~~ Mathematical Sciences
    ~~ Physical Sciences

    For JRF (NET): Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for Reserved category candidates.

    Yes........you can go for NET examination....


    NET stands for national eligibility test.UGC will hold the NET exam twice a year- June and December.


    >>To apply the NET examination you need to complete your post graduation with 55% of marks from any recognized university.

    The candidates who are in the final year of post graduation they also applicable for NET examination.


    >>The examination fees of NET was Rs.450/- and candidates may apply for NET examination Online by visit the UPSC website.But before the online application you have to pay the chalan in the SBI bank.

    YES...you are eligible for NET exam

    NET means NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST this exam is conducted by the UGC once a year

    ELIGIBILITY:

    Candidate should complete PG from a recognized university with 55% marks.

    Candidate should be a citizen of india

    There is no upper age limit for this exam

    Yes , You have completed Post Graduate degree in Mechanical engineering so you are applicable for NET exam.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.


    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.


    For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.


    For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.There is no restriction for attempts NET exam.


    NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

    Yes off course you re eligible for NET(National eligibility test) after completing your post graduation from Mechanical engineering field.
    But there are two conditions which are required to satisfied by you in order to appear for the exam:
    1)The candidate must have qualified his or her post graduation from a recognized institute or university.
    2)The candidate must have obtained the minimum percentage which is 55% in order to appear for the same.
    There is no age limit prescribed in order to sit for the examination ans so a candidate can appear at any age, though
    there is a age limit prescribed for JRF(Junior research fellowship) which is 28 years.

    National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam

    University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) every year.

    It is conducted to determine eligibility of entrants for lectureship or to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

    You can also appear for both at the same time.

    Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts UGC-CSIR NET for certain Science subjects like Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Chemical Sciences etc.

    The real aim of conducting NET exam is to ensure that only qualified professionals with minimum standards are getting into teaching profession and research.

    It is conducted twice a year i. e; during the month of June and December.

    The notification regarding the exam will be published through leading newspapers during March and September respectively.
    Structure and Pattern of NET exam

    For both lectureship and JRF same question paper is prepared by UGC

    It constitutes subjects as follows;

    Paper I -Objective Type- General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Methods (50 questions) – 100 Marks

    Paper II- Objective Type – Core Subject (50 questions)- 100 Marks

    Paper III- Descriptive Type – Core Subject – will have four sections. Section 1- 5x5= 25 marks (30 words), Section 2 –15x5=75 marks (30 words), Section 3- 5x12= 60 marks (200 words) and Section 4- 1x40= 40 marks(1000 words)

    Grand Total = 400 marks


    Qualification Criteria for NET exam

    You must have completed Post Graduation in the desired subject.

    They must have secured Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% from any reputed college under UGC recognition.

    If You are appearing for last semester exam ; You can even attend NET exam.

    Thirty Five years is the maximum age limit.

    There is relaxation of 3 years OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    Application Procedure for NET exam


    You have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC.

    2 print outs of filled in online application form, exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificate(s) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

    Yes you are Eligible for NET Exam, as you are a Post Graduate from Mechanical Engineering.


    NET stands for -- National Eligibility Test .

    This is the National level entrance examination in India conducted for only postgraduate candidates .

    This examination is conducted for the students to qualify for admission in Ph.D Courses.

    This Exam is Conducted and Organized by University Grants Commission (UGC).


    The Eligibility Criteria for NET Examinations 2011 is :

    You must be a Post Graduated Student in any discipline from a recognized University.

    And you must have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree.

    You are also eligible if you are in Masters Graduation Final year.

    Your Age must be in between 20-28 yrs only for NET.


    Important Dates of NET Exam 2012 :

    Application Submission Start Date : 29-3-2012

    Application Submission End Date : 25-4-2012

    Yes off course you are eligible for the NET Examination with your Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering....

    National Eligible Test:
    This NET Examination is conducted for the selection of candidates for the Lectureship and also to award for the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).This examination is codnucted in three levels of examination and you must qualify in this examination in order to become eligible for the examination.....
    You must explicitly mention in the application that if you wants to apply for both the Lecture ship and the JRF ,The Candidates who are selected in the examination are going to be awarded the lectureship and given post in any one of the university all over the India.....

    There are required eligibility Criteria which must be followed in order to become eligible for the NET Examination....
    >>You must completed the Post Graduate degree in any of the Branch of Study
    >>candidates who are in the finale year Post graduation can also apply for the Examination....'
    >>You must complete the master degree in any of the honourable degree and should receive the certificate issued by the government of India.....

    NET- national eligibility test
    the minimum education qualification is completed Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from university recognized by UGC.
    Since , you do post graduate than you are alsoeligible

    You are eligible for the NET exam, if you have completed your PG or pursuing your last semester,,
    But the dates of form submission has gone and now you have to wait for december -2012 attempt whose form will come in the month of october- 2012

    the eligibility for NET exam :


    1. you must have done your post graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

    2.your % in post graduation must not be less than 55%.

    3.NET is conducted for two posts :

    a) JRF ( junior research fellowship): your age should not be more than 28 years.

    b) lectureship: there is no upper limit of age for this post.

    so, you are eligible for the NET examinations after post graduation in mechanical engineering.
