You are only eligible for the first attempt of nda in 2012 in january as your age will not be complete 19 by then.The age criteria for NDA is 16.5-19 years of age and you fall into this category only till january.After that the second attempt will be around August but then you will be above 19 so you won't be eligible then.So all you have is one chance for taking NDA next year.Also there is minimum 60% marks required in 10+2 to be eligible for NDA.You must be physically and mentally very fit to join NDA.You should not be colour blind and should have appropriate height to weight ratio.
You need to clear the SSB interviews after you clear the written exam to join NDA.

National Defence Academy Exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC for better job prospects in navy, army and airforce.
To be eligible for this exam the main is the age criteria.
This year the age criteria for NDA I was:
a candidate must not be born earlier than 2nd january 1993 and not later than 1st july 1996.

For NDA II:
the candidate must be born not earlier than 2nd july 1993 and not later than 1st january 1996.

So the next year, the terminal years will move to the 1994 and 1997.

Since you are 1993 so your chance of getting NDA 2012 has gone. Now you can only apply in the CDS exam.

The exam is conducted for candidates who want to join in Air force,Army wing or Navy wing of NDA.The exam is being conducted by UPSC as it has NDA I and NDA II.

For writing this exam there are some basic eligibility criteria which a candidate must possess.

Eligibility:

The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.
The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2 - 19 years.

For Army wing:

The candidates must have finished +2 with 10th,12th pattern of school education from a recognized board.

For Air force and Naval wing:

The candidates must have finished +2 with10th,12th pattern of school education from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as subjects.

The candidates must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam as it is very important regarding the physical test.

You are not eligible for the NDA exam as you have born on 22nd April 1993 as the criteria says that the candidate must have born only after 2nd July 1993 are eligible for the NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.You are not eligible for NDA 1st as well as NDA 2nd,as you are not fulfilling the age criteria ,your crossed the age of 19 and at the training time the candidate should mot more then 19 years of age.So you are not eligible to appear in further NDA exams,the only way to join Indian civil services you have to complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university after that you are eligible for other UPSC exams like CDS, IAS, etc.


To appear in NDA exam the candidate must fulfill the mentioned criteria -

- the candidate must be a Indian citizen

- passed 10+2 ( science and maths) with minimum 60% aggregate

- between the age of 16 1/2 - 19 years

- physically fit.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

This is conducted by UPSC for those who are interested in gettign in to Defene services.

UPSC conducts this exam twice every year.

Only male un-married Students are eligible to apply for this exam.

You need complete your 12th from a reconized board to apply for this exam.

Your age need to be between 16.5 to 19 years.

There are mainly 3wings which are in NDA .They are:-

• Army wing,
  
• Air force wing,
  
• naval wing.

For apply for Army wing you need to complete your 12th exam.

But for Air force and Naval you need to complete 12th with physics and maths subjects included.
