no you are not eligible for joining Indian Air Forceas they strictly require +2 passed with Physics,Chemistry,Maths with good marks and after that the candidate has to pass physcal test

2.AFCAT::This examination is conducted by the Indian air force academy also called IAF for officer post in the different area in Air force it self.You can apply for ::

Ground Duty Branches

You should be more then 20 years and less then 27 years of age.
You must have got the PG or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Flying Branch

You should be between 19 to 23 years.
You should have done the B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks and must have maths and physics as a compulsory subjects.

Technical Branch

You should be between 18-28 years of age

now i am doing mechanical engg from gbtu and i want to be a flying officer in iaf without written test .now i am student of final year .i got 67% in three years . am i able for ssb interview . my age is 19 years.

Yes,you can join in Indian Air Force, by appear CDS exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.This exam is conducted to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Air Force,Indian Navy and Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam:
For Indian Navy:
You should have complete graduation degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 18 to 23 years.
For Indian Air Force:
You should have complete graduation degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 18 to 22 years.
For Indian Army:
You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.

• Flying Branch
• Ground Branch

Flying Branch:

As an engineer you can enter i not the Flying Branch through the Air force.
Here you are trained and prepared for your responsibilities as a fighter pilot or Helicopter pilot,or a Transport pilot in the flying branch.

Eligibility:

Your age should in between 19-23 years.
Unmarried males and females are applicable for this exam.
You must be citizen from India.

for sending the AFCAT application through post, is very confusing to me , can you clear the confusion, the confusion is there they have specified about two envelopes
1. with Rs 27/- stamp 2. Rs 5/- stamp with self written address, i am in confusion that i want to send to two envelopes in one post , please tell me .

For Indian Air force,you should have complete graduation degree in Engineering from a recognized university.And your age should be between 18 to 22 years.You can apply for CDS or you can directly go for exams conducted by air force.You can check at www.careersairforce.nic.in for more details.As you are an engineer do not bother about eligibility.

You need to send the main envelope with 27rs stamp on it.You put your self addressed envelope inside that which will have a 5rs stamp on it.Do not send two envelopes separately.Use a bigger envelope for the form so that it can easily accommodate your forms,documents and your self addressed envelope..

NDA stands for National Defence Acadamy.

This exam is conducte twice every year .

To apply for NDA exam you need to pass 10+2.

You need to be physically fit in respect of eye sight etc...

yes, friend if you are fulfiling qualifications given below then you are able to;
1.you must be a science student mean your degree must be through any science department
2.you must be graduated with minimum of 60%marks in graduation
3.your age must not be more than 24 years
4.you must be physically and mentally fit and not be suffering from any disease
5.like your eyesight must be normal and bone must be erect
6.first off all you have to clear this CDS exam and than SSB interview of 5 days and then medical and then you will get admission acording to your option in different fields
7.after this you will get a direct officers rank post

For going to airforce first off all you have to clear combined defence servics exam then SSB interview and then medical and then after training of 2years at pune. CDS forms will be coming in month of october of this year
