    ->No friend a student from the Applied and Electronics engineering is not eligible to appear for the IES exam.

    ->To be eligible for the IES exam You must have done your Engineering from the following branches:

    1)CIVIL ENGINEERING
    2)ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
    3)ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
    4)MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

    ->The IES exam is conducted by UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) every year.

    Dear friend,,

    IES(INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAM) conducted by UPSC for engineering goverment posts.

    Yes,, you are eligible to appear for IES, but the candidate have to appear under the any of the 4 categories:
    >>Civil Engineering
    >>Mechanical Engineering
    >>Electrical Engineering
    >>Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.


    ELIGIBILITY
    >>You should have completed your engineering from a recognised university
    >>you should have completed M.SC degree in applicable enginering disciple
    >>Your age shpuld be between 21-30 years

    EXAM PATTERN
    Part I—
    The written Examination will comprise two sections—
    Section I - objective questions
    Section II - conventional papers.
    Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

    Part II— Personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the basis of the written examination.

    Eligibility for the IES exam

    if you have any one of the qualification you are eligible for the exam .
    • you should have obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the

      Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions

      or
    • you should have obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign

      University/College/Institution.

      or
    • you should have passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and

      Telecommunication Engineers (India).

      or
    • you should have passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics


      and Radio Engineers .

    • age limit is Upto a maximum of five years for the candidate belongs to a Scheduled

      Caste or a Scheduled
      Tribe.
    • age limit is Upto a maximum of three years for the candidates belonging to Other Backward

      Classes

    I.E.S stands for Indian Engineering Service Examination.

    The I.E.S examination is one of the top service for engineering candidates and the examination was conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

    The examination was conducted by Upsc Once in a year and this year examination was already successfully completed.

    To apply for the examination,the candidate must have a graduate degree in engineering from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

    The Engineering degree in Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,Electronics and communication engineering,Electrical Engineering.

    The candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination.

    The age relaxation is given to the various reserved categories and the reserved categories are SC/ST/OBC and other categories.

    Three year relaxation for OBC candidates,Five year relaxation for SC/ST category.

    Those in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

    The notification was published in the month of February in official website or employment news paper.

    Dear friend,
    Any student from any engineering apply for IES(Indian Engineering Service).But the problem is that the syllabus for this exam is based on the below listed Steams---------
    1>Mechanical Engineering
    2>Electrical Engineering
    3>Electronics Engineering
    4>Civil Engineering
    So,if you want to sit for IES you have to choose any subject from the subjects given to any of those streams.

    Yes, You are eligible for IES Examination after completing your Electronics Engineering Course form a recognised University.

    IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination and this examination was Conducted by UPSC Comission every year and to apply for this examination you need to complete your degree course in Engineering in any discipline is eligible for taking Engineering Service Examination (As per the UPSC Comission).

    >> So, If your age should between 21 to 30 years, then you are eligible for IES Examination, the Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    IES conduct by the UPSC of India.The UPSC conducts the engineering services examination for recruitment of engineers to the four categories of engineering services.
    -civil engineering
    -Mechanical engineering
    -electrical and telecommunication engineering
    -Electronics engineering

    You are not eligible for I.E.S ( Indian Economic Service) Examination, as per educational qualification required in specific field..

    I.E.S post recruitment is done Through Examination I.E.S/I.S.S exam , Conducted by Union public service commission (UPSC) every year in month of December..

    Required Eligibility for written examination is listed below :-
    • Indian Nationality is must.

    • He/She must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st January, of the examination year.

    • Upper age relaxation is provided to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PD/Ex-Men/widows/etc..

    • Minimum Education Qualification :-
