Re: Am I eligible for IES entrance exam after completing B.Tech from Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering? What is the syllabus for the same?

Yes off course you are eligible for IES(Indian Economic services) examinations or CSE(Civil services examinations) after completing your B.Tech(Bachelors of technology)
degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering. The examination is conducted in three stages as follows:
1)Preliminary exams(which is an objective type examination)
2)Mains examination( which is a subjective examinations)- In this exam the students are required to select subjects according to their own preference.
3)Personal interview-This is the final and the most crucial stage in the whole process.
There is as such no syllabus and it consists of more or less everything that is related to general awareness and some important fields.
