    Hi,
    You have not mention for which post are you interested,anyway I am giving you the details,there are two types of IBPS one is conducted for clerical post and the other is for PO post.The criterion for Clerk post---
    1>60% marks in 12th or Graduation(5% relaxation for reserved category).
    2>Age between 18-28 years(there are relaxation for reserved category).
    So,If you score 60% in graduation atleast then you can apply for this.
    Criterion for the post of PO---
    1>60% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation(5% relaxation for reserved category).
    2>Age between 21-30( there are relaxation for reserved category).

    As Per My Knowledge you are eligible for IBPS Examination Because to apply for IBPS Examination your Age Should between 18 to 28 years. So, If you have not completed the age of 28 Years then you are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerical examination.

    But You are Not Satisfied the age eligibility criteria because to you need to scored minimum 50% marks in your 12Th examination, But If you have scored minimum 60% Marks in your 10Th examination then On the Basis of 10Th examination you are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerical examination.

    >> To apply for IBPS Examination candidates have to fulfill any one of the Conditions -

    (A) Passed in 10Th examination with Minimum 60% Marks OR
    (B) Passed in 12Th examination with minimum 50% Marks OR
    (C) Passed in Graduation form a recognised University.

    So, If you have Satisfied any One of the Eligiblity then you are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerical Examination Otherwise you are Not eligible to apply for IBPS Examination.

    >> The examination Fees of IBPS Was Rs 350, But you have to pay the Fees through challan OR through CBS branches - Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas
    Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.

    And after paying fees through challan you are eligible to Fill the Application form Online By visit the Official website.

    The Registration process was Already Started and the last date of apply for IBPS Examination was 24/09/2011.

    The written examination was going to be held on 27/11/2011.

    The eligibility for IBPS Clerk exam is as follows:
    -Passed in 10+2 with at least 50% marks.
    -Age limit: 18-28yrs.

    As you have scored less,you cannot apply for it.

    Hello Fried,

    Under IBPS exam you`ll have two types of exams PO`s and clerks as already the PO exam date is fixed you cant apply for PO but you can apply for clerks which is on 27-11-2011.

    The age criteria is between 21-30
    The qualification is
    a) Should have passed 10 with 60%(5% relaxation is given for backward castes)
    b)should have passed +2 with 50% (5% relaxation is given for backward castes)

    hi,
    for appearing in IBPS clerical you must have certain criteria
    1.should be a graduate or have atleast 50% marks in 12th or 60% marks in matriculation.
    2.age should be 18-28 yrs (as on 01.08.2011)
    3.should be a citizen of india.

    considering this if u have done graduation then you can apply for IBPS.But if you are applying on your 12th marks you will not be eligible.

    >>minimum 12th pass.

    >>minimum 60% marks in 10th and 12th.

    >>age limit is 18-27 years.

    Eligibility for IBPS:

    -Nationality:Indian
    -Age:Your age should in between the 18 - 28 years.
    The maximum age limit specified is applicable to general category candidates.
    -You have to pass your 10+2 in any recognized board.

    Eligibility Criteria for Common Written Examination :-
    Nationality & Citizenship : Citizen of India

    Age Criteria : 18 to 28 years as on 01/08/2011. Relaxations : 5 years for SC/ST/, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen.


    Education Qualification :
    You should have atleast 60% marks in 10th

    A pass with 50% marks in Higher Secondary Examination (12th)/11th Standard Or Intermediate/Pre-University Or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or UT Administration.

    Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government.


    sorry to say, you are not eligible for IBPS Exam at the age of 28 with educational qualification as 12th with 48%.

    Hi Friend ,

    No, you are not Eligible for IBPS or any other Bank exam with educational qualification as 12th with 48%. For Different bank Exams there is some differnce in the required Qualification as you see below .You may apply for Punjab National Bank Clerk Exam if you belong to following categories
    • SC/ST
    • Ex-servicemen
    • physically handicapped


    State Bank of India for the post of PO (Probationary Officers)

    Educational Qualifications:
    10+2 with 60% or in Diploma after 10th standard and 55% aggregate marks in Graduation.


    Punjab National Bank Clerk Eligibility :

    Educational qualification:
    applicant must be a graduated with 50% marks
    And should have working knowledge of Ms-office.
    Relaxation for sc/st/ex-servicemen/phc graduation from any recognized university with working knowledge of ms-office.


    IBPS Clerk exam eligibility:

    Educational qualification:
    • 60% marks from a recognized board in 10th standard/
    • 50% in a 10+2 or a degree.

    Dear friend,

    Sorry to say, you are not eligible to attend the I.B.P.S entrance exam..
    The age limit you must have for attend the exam is 18-28years..
    And you must also have minimum of 50 in 12TH class..
    You are not satisfying the given eligibility..so you are not eligible to attend the exam..
    But friend if you have completed your graduation, you can apply for the other bank exams..
    And also try to get other jobs as soon as you can..

    yes.you are eligible for IBPS with 48% in 12th standard.
    the eligiblility is only pass qualification.
    age limit :20 to 30 years for open category.5 years more for sc/st category.

    I. Age (As on 1st August 2011):

    Minimum: 18 Years Maximum: 28Years

    II.Educational Qualifications:

    A pass with 60% marks (Pass for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM) in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent.

    (OR)

    A pass with 50% marks (Pass for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM) in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration.

    ->Yes You are eligible for the Bank clerk exam conducted by IBPS every year.But there is some minimum marks criteria required to qualify to appear
    in the Exam of clerk.

    ->A Student can appear for the Bank clerk's exam if he satisfies on of the following three conditions for the educational qualification and they are:

    1)You must have passed your 10th class from a central board or state board or any recognized Board.You must have scored a minimum of 60% marks
    aggregate.There is no criteria of minimum marks for the SC/ST or reserved category students.

    OR

    2)You must have passed your 12th class from a central board or state board or any recognized Board.You must have scored a minimum of 50% marks

    Dear friend.
    Institute of Banking Personnal Selection Exam conducts the common entrance test for the recruitment of probationary officers/management trainees/single window operators/ clerks posts approved by each of the 19 public sector participating banks and managing committee of Indian Banks Association(IBA). It is conducted twice a year.

    To be eligible for the exam you have to fulfill the following eligibility details:
    *you must be a citizen of India
    *you must be 21 to 30 years of age for the general category. There is a 3 to 10 years age relaxation for the sc/ST/OBC category and disabled.
    *you must be a graduate in any discipline. There is no minimum percentage criteria.

    since you are just a 12th passed candidate so you first must complete your gaduation in any discipline so as to become eligible for the exam.

    The exam consist of two stages:
    1. prelim exam: It is a objective type exam on general awareness, qualitative reasoning, quantitative aptitude and general english along with the computer knowledge of ms word, excel access etc...
    2. Main exam: It is a written exam om essay writing, comprehension and the paragraph writing.

    after qualifying the exam one is issued the score card indicating his or her marks and based on the cutoff of the respective bank one can apply for the interview and get recruited within one year as the validity of the score card is one year.

    The notification for the exam comes in the month o july. The last date to apply is in the mid august and the exam being conducted in the mid september.

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection known as IBPS conducts Common Examination for initial short listing of the candidates for selection of personnel in Clerical Cadre and Entry Level Officer cadre and Specialist Officers in all the 19 Public Sector Banks (Except SBI and its Associate Banks).

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Age Limits : Minimum-20 Years Maximum-30 Years

    Educational Qualifications : A Degree in any Discipline or its equivalent

    Your class 12 marks are not needed for IBPS.
    You should have a minimum 55% in graduation.

    You are exactly having the age needed for writing the IBPS Clerk exam.

    As like other banks IBPS is also conducting the IBPS Clerk exam for the post of clerk.This exam is a objective type question paper and consists of 250 questions to be answered in 2 1/2 hours.

    No you are not eligible for IBPS clerk exams because you don't have the enough percent in your inter. It should be more than 55% .

    The only possible way is if you have 60% or more in your tenth class then you will be eligible for IBPS clerk posts!!! so, check it out once. If you dont have enough percent in tenth also, then you have to do degree at least to get qualified for IBPS clerk/PO posts...

    Here are the details.

    Pre-Requisites for Applying Online

    Before applying online, you should

    (i) scan your photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature

    (ii) keep the application fee/ intimation charges remittance details (Transaction details
    such as Transaction No., Branch Name & Code etc.) ready in case of Offline Payment i.e.
    CBS / Keep the necessary details/documents ready if desired to make online payment
    of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges.

    (iii) have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of results of
    this round of CWE. IBPS may send call letters for Written Examination etc. through the
    registered e-mail ID.

    Exam pattern for Clerks:

    You can take IBPS clerk test in Hindi/English language.
    Each question carries one mark and there is negative (1/4) marking
    After Exam,IBPS will be given a scorecard if you are qualified in CWE.
    It will be valid for one year from the date of issue of the scorecards.



    Validity of CWE Score Card:
    Score Cards issued by IBPS will be valid for one year from the date of issue of the Score
    Card.

    Cut-Off marks :

    The cut-off points will be decided based on the average
    Average Standard Deviation for General category
    Average Standard Deviation for Reserved Category(BC,SC/ST)

    Eligibility for Clerk posts:

    You must have min.60% in tenth OR

    min.55% in your Inter OR pass in degree from any recognized University of India.

    Your age should be between 18-28 years
    - For SC/ST it is 5 years relaxation
    - For BC relaxation set as 3 years.
    - For the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years.

    You can apply for the bank jobs.Now IBPS Conduct Common Written Exam for 19 Public Sector Banks.There are different posts for which IBPS conducts Exam. These Posts are Clerk, Probationary Officer, and others are as :-


    The Eligibility Criteria for Bank Clerk is as follow :- The age criteria for Clerk is 18-25 Years to write the Exam of Clerk.
    The Higher Secondary passed is necessary in any Stream from a recognized Board.

    Eligibility Criteria for PO:- You have passed the Graduation in any stream from a recognized University and your age should be 21-30 years.

    The Relaxation in age there for Reserved Category that is :-


    So if you pass this criteria you can apply for the same.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    This exam is conducted to Recruit the students for bank jobs .

    IBPS-PO exam:-

    To apply for this exam you need to complete your graduation from a reconized university.

    You can also apply if you are in the final year of your Graduation.

    Your age need to be between 20-30 years.

    This exam is conducted in both objective and descriptive type`s.

    Objective type is of 150 min duration.

    Descriptive type is of 60 min duration .

    Eligibility for IBPS-CLERK EXAM :-


    You are eligible if your with 60 % from a government-approved matriculation system are eligible for appearing for IBPS clerical exam.

    Another option is 50% in a higher secondary exam or a degree.

    The minimum age requiredfor application is 18years as on 18-01-2011 and maximum is 28.

    Age relaxation is provided for reservation category`s like :-

    SC/ST = 5 years,

    OBC = 3 years,

    WIDOWS = 9years.
