No you cannot apply for the IBPS exam with a third class. You need to secure at least 60% of marks in the 10th class. You need to secure your 10th class from a recognized university or college. There is relaxation in case of the educational qualification for the clerical post. They need to only pass the 10th class exam. Hence if you belong to the reserved category, you are eligible for this exam with a 3rd class. You also need to satisfy the age requirement. You should be between 18-28 years for attending this exam.
