    Am I eligible for IAS prelim exam while pursuing B.Tech final year? If yes, Which optional subject should I opt for Mains exam?

    hello sir i m ashish sahu and i m persuing b-tech in computer scince branch final year student...
    can i eligible for ias prilium exam in 2012... becous my degree complete in june 2012 .. so plz tell me
    if yes than which subject is coosen in main exam by my suitability.

    yes you are eligibile to apply for IAs examination.
    UPSC every year conducts IAS examination .through civiservices examination you canapply for IAS examination.IAS Exam (Civil service exam) is considered to be the toughest Exam of the country and rightly so because of the High degree of satisfaction, Respect and Comfort provided by the Prestigious Civil services of The Country.

    Notification were available at UPSC official website or in empolyment news paper.
    Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for Main Examination
    Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts.

    sorry ,you are not eligible for IAS prelim exam while pursuing B.Tech final year but after the completion of the course...

    B.tech students can take the Sanskrit or English subjects as a optional subject.
    Any branch of the student took any subject from the subject list.
    there is no problem for the upsc or the board. student took any two subject from the subject list.
