The minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exam is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The age limit for the exam is 21-30 years. The syllabus of the Civil Services Aptitude Test includes two compulsory subjects of two hundred marks each. The duration of both the exams is 2 hours each. There is a negative marking for the incorrect answers. You can apply both online and offline. If you are applying online, then you should remit a fee of Rs. 50/- in any of the branches of the State Bank. You can use any of the facilities of the State bank like internet banking, Visa card, Master Card, or Debit card to remit the fee.

As you mentioned here that you are in final year of B.Tech.Sorry to say before comliting your Graduate degree/B.Tech you are not eligible for IAS exam.

For IAS exam you have to fullfill the given Eligiblity Criteria.
Your age should between 21 to 30.
Your should have complete graduate degree from any stream by recognised university.
If you comes under general category then you have four attempts,OBCs have seven attemps and SC/STs have no limit to give IAS exam.

IAS exam consist of 2 written papers + Interview.
1-Primilary Exam
2-Mains Exam
3-Interview
