    FRIEND,

    CLAT stands for COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST and this test is conducted for the selection of students for the LAW COURES in INDIA.

    It is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools/Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M).

    THE LIST OF 14 COLLEGES IS:
    1. National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU)
    2. NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad (NALSAR)
    3. National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU)
    4. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (WBNUJS)
    5. National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ)
    6. Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (HNLU)
    7. Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (GNLU)
    8. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow (RMLNLU)
    9. Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala (RGNUL)
    10. Chanakya National Law University, Patna (CNLU)
    11. National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS)
    12. National Law University, Orissa (NLUO)
    13. National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL)
    14. National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA)

    This exam is conducted in some order and that order is :
    • CLAT-2008 (NLSIU, Bangalore)
    • CLAT-2009 (NALSAR, Hyderabad)
    • CLAT-2010 (NLIU, Bhopal)
    • CLAT 2011 (WBNUJS, Kolkata)
    • CLAT-2012 (National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU, Jodhpur).

    SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
    • English including Comprehension 40 Marks
    • General Knowledge/ Current Affairs 50 Marks
    • Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) 20 Marks
    • Legal Aptitude 50 Marks
    • Logical Reasoning 40 Marks

    Total Marks 200
    Total number of multiple-choice questions of one mark each 200
    Duration of examination Two Hours

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS:

    You must have done 12th class in any field from any recongnized Board.

    You must have obtained at least 50% marks and 45% marks for reserved categories.

    The Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)** as on 1st July, 2012.

    you must have 10+2 with 45% o marks to get eligible ,if you are belong to the SC/ST castes than you may have 45% of marks to get eligible.
    Eligibility for post graduate programme.
    You should have a degree from the or equivalent degree on LL.B/B.L degree from a recognized university with 55% of aggregate marks,
    If you are belong sc/st/obc than you have to get 50% of marks in your degree to get eligible,
    paper pattern for the undergraduate programme
    total marks for the paper is 200 marks,questions are like multiple type questions and you have two hours to write this examination.
    syllabus
    • english including comprehension-40 marks,
    • general knowledge/current affairs-50 marks,
    • elementary mathematics-20 marks,
    • legal aptitude-50marks,
    • logical reasoning-40 marks,
    paper pattern for the post graduate programme.
    total marks for the paper is 200 marks,questions are like multiple type questions and you have two hours to write this examination.and you have 10 short answers questions carries 100 marks.

    • law of torts,
    • criminal law,
    • constitutional law,
    • and legal theory,
    EXAM DATES.
    • Applications are available from 2nd January 2012,
    • Last date to submit the application forms 31st march 2012,
    • Hall tickets are going to issued don 14th april, 2012,
    • The exam is going to be conducted in the month of May 13th, 2012.

    Hello,
    Yes you can go for CLAT exam and get provisional admission and clear the supplementary and get converted as a regular student...
    So give the exam in the session in which supplementary exams were announced just after your result...

    *This Examination is conducted by Seven Law Institution in India

    *It's an Entry level Examination for LLB and LLM Course


    Eligibility Criteria:-


    --You should Pass in 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination in any discipline from recognized University

    --You should score Minimum 50% Percentage of marks in 12th board Examination

    --Age relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates for 3 years .

    --Your age should be between 20 -- 22 years

    The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance exam which is conducted every year by each of National Law Schools.
    CLAT is a single stage entrance exam and the exam is of 2 hours duration.
    The exam consists of multiple choices questions and short answer questions.


    Eligibility CLAT Exam :

    Educational:
    you should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board with not less than 50% marks.
    45% Marks For SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates.
    Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting Results are also eligible to appear in the test.

    Age Limit:
    your should not be more than 20 years (For General/OBC candidates).
    22 Years for SC/ST Candidates.

    English including Comprehension
    General Knowledge/Current Affairs
    Elementary Mathematics
    Legal Awareness
    Logical Reasoning
