    hi,friend
Yes.you can get good job surely.
That's bad that you have backlog and complete engineering in 6 year instead of 4 year.but on other side you complete from IIT is the very nice.
And Any company want good engineer who have a good knowledge, good personality, good skill.
so now you have to improve that continuously.Still you have to face some difficulty for sitting in interview.but whenever you get chance, then you have to express your skill, knowledge and will get job surely on that time.
company not want that in company all the holder having good percentage.percentage is just important for sitting in interview.then after your knowledge is important.so it should be in you so that you can lead your compatitive in the interview.

    best of luck...

    HI..Dear
it is possible to getting a good job because you are cleared all your subjects in your B.Tech...but it is depended on your Talent as well as communication skills and Technical skills..In any company percentage is only plays a minimum role the maximum role plays your talent....you are getting job easily but i starting you are getting 10,000 to 15,000 only after it increases based upon your work....

    hi dear friend,
you have mentioned that you have done your btech for 6 years instead of 4 years from IIT in EEE branch..and your percentage is 60%..many companies look for candidates without backlogs..but the ultimate criterion for getting a good job is not merely academic % but the knowledge you have gained from it and how good you can implement the academic skills.
first, you analyze what are the areas you are lagging at,how to improve your grey areas..
these days, companies are looking for enthusiastic and capable candidates with good communication skills and dedication towards the organisation..
so try to develope your soft skills and concentrate on what the firms are looking from the candidates.. you will definitely be placed in a good company..
    all the best..
    thank you..

    hello . .

Yes ; there are many core companies both from Government Sector and private sector which hire Electrical and Electronic graduates.

    Eligibility

As a Engineering graduate you can try out in the below companies.

You can even get into these companies after completing your M.tech course which will be off a higher post.

I have given here a list of companies which you can try out for after completing your Engineering with minimum of 70% aggregate.the aggregate level may be higher or lower depending upon the company.

But,for most of the Public Sector Undertaking(PSU's) the aggregate must be above 65%.

    Procedure

The procedure almost remains the same for all the examinations conducted by core companies.the test is basically divided into two parts

    1.Written Test

    2.Interview

The written test is generally conducted in selected Cities.

If selected for the written you will be called up for the interview where they will decide whether to select you or not based upon your performance.

    List of Companies

    National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC)

    Bharat Heavy Electricals limited(BHEL)

    Jindal Steel and Power Limited

    Steel Authority of India Limited(SAIL)

    Bharat Electronics Ltd.(BEL)

You can even go through Engineering Services exam conducted by the UPSC Board through which you can get placed in various organizations.

You can even go through GENCO,TRANSCO,Power Grid exams conducted by State and National Boards.

All the exams which i have mentioned above have their own procedure's for recruiting candidates hence you need to go through these exams individually.

    good luck . .
