    Am I eligible to get admission for M.Tech(Civil) after completing B.Tech(Instrumentation Engineering)?

    hello
    i completed my b.tech in[B] instrumentation engineering so can i now eligible for civil engineering in m.tech?

    SORRY TO TELL YOU YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO DO M.TECH IN CIVIL ENGINEERING AS YOU DONOT HAVE B.TECH IN CIVIL, HERE IS ELIGIBILITY FOR DOING M.TECH IN CIVIL ENGINEERING




    Eligibility Criteria for M.tech civil engineering

    For a course in M.Tech in civil engineering you must have earned their bachelors degree by studying B.Tech in civil engineering from any of the institutions under any of the universities.

    hai,,,,,,,,,,,
    dear generally masters in technology is course is done after bachelors in technology ,
    the eligibility criteria for the m.tech
    dear you have to get 60% of marks in the graduation in engineering or technology or equivalent to be eligible.
    if you are belong to the sc/st candidates than you have to get 55% of marks in graduation to be eligible.
    selection procedure.
    you have to fill the application form with all the relevant details and send the print copy of the same along with requiste fee and certified copy of documents related to qualifications on or before the last date prescribed by the university.
    they will call u after sort listing .
    if you have valid gate score and required qualification than you are eligible for the course.
    thapar university:-
    there will be an entrance test conducted by the university for the admission,,gate score will seen for the scholarship,you have to get 50% m,arks in the qualifying examination.
    if you are from the Maharashtra than you have to get 45% of marks if you are from backward class, and 50% marks in your degree approved by the AICTE to get the admission.
    you will get the admission on basis of GATE score.
    GATE ELIGIBILITY
    you have to complete 4 years b.tech for eligible to the GATE (GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST).
    • THE DATE OF THE EXAMINATION THROUGH ONLINE IS ON THE DATE 29-01-2012.
    • THE DATE OF THE EXAMINATION THROUGH OFFLINE IS ON 12-02-2012.
    you have to download the admit card from the zonal GATE websites from 2-January-2012.
    there will be 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
    the application cost is rs.1000
    and for the sc/st candidates the application cost is rs.500.
    top m.tech colleges are
    • IIT Bombay,
    • Indian institute of science,banglore.
    • IIT Delhi,
    • IIT madras,
    • IIT Kanpur,
    • IIT roorkee,
    • national institute of technology,
    • Indian school of mines university,
    • thapar university,

    No you are not eligible.There is no civil or mechanical or electronics or electrical engineering etc in post graduation.M.Tech is papaer based and not stream based.After Instrumentation you can get into specialization in any subjects in Mechanical or to some extent electronics.But not civil in any way.You can get into M.Tech in CAD from some institutes which has students from many branches including civil engineering such as IIT Roorkee.

    i am B.E (EEE) holder ,, but now i am working in civil department ,, i just wanna learn about building construction by certified can i do any master degree related to civil or any deplomatic course ,, can u suggest
