    Am I eligible for february CDS exam if my date of birth is 03-01-1994?

    haii sir
    my date of birth is 3-1-1994. I want to know that am I eligible for CDS which will happen in february 2013?

    CDS stands for Combined Defence Services examination and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and this examination is Conducted for these 4 academy and those who cracked the Written test and Personal Interview are eligible to go for Training in these Respective Academy:

    >> Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
    >> Naval Academy, Goa
    >> Air Force Academy, Begumpet, Hyderabad
    >> Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai

    The eligibility Criteria are vary from Academy to Academy, But graduation is the Minimum Eligiblity Criteria to apply for CDS Examination, So please apply for CDS Examination as per your Eligiblity Criteria:

    Educational Qualifications:
    ---------------------------

    >> For IMA/OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

    >> For Naval Academy : You have to complete your B.Sc course with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.

    >> For Air Force Academy : You have to complete your B.Sc course of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering.

    Age Eligiblity :
    -------------

    >> For IMA : Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years are eligible

    >> For Naval Academy : Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years eligible

    >> For Air Force Academy : Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years eligible

    >> For Officers Training Academy : Male candidates between the age 19-25 years eligible.

    The Selection are based on Written test , Personal Interview and Medical test and if you cracked all these stages then you are eligible for Training.

    You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease, The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms. (157 cms for Navy and 162.5 cms for Air Force). For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.

    In written examination will be comprises of 3 papers :

    >> English
    >> General Knowledge
    >> Elementary Mathematics

    Please Prepare for CDS Examination as per the Given syllabus. Please Purchase some best books from the Market and keep Practice Daily only then you will be able to cracked the CDS Examination.

    When you complete your Syllabus Completely then please try to solved some previous year papers of CDS Examination. When you solved previous year papers, then you will get some Idea about the examination and Your Confidence level will Increase and you will attempt your Paper on time on examination Time.

    The Notification will be Published Twice in a year and it will be Published in the employment newspaper.

    You are Eligible for CDS Examination in 2013 because you will attained the age of 19 years in 2013.

    CDS Stands for Combined Defense Service.

    It conducts exams for

    Indian military academy

    Indian Naval academy

    Indian Air force

    Indian Officer's Training Academy.

    Age limit :-

    For Military,19 to 24years.

    For Naval,19 to 22years.

    For Air force,19 to 23years.

    For OTA,19 to 25years.
