You are eligible to attend the IES exam if you have completed the B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. It is important for you to secure the graduation from a recognized institute or university. The post graduates in the same field are also eligible to attend this exam. The final year of B.Tech graduates can also apply. But it is important for them to submit the proof of their graduation after the results of the written exam get published. The minimum age for attending this exam is 21 years. The upper age limit for the IES exam is 30 years. There is relaxation in case of the age limits for the reserved categories. You can log in to the official website of UPSC to get complete details regarding the IES exam.
