as you are in 22 years you are not elligible for the DRDO set exam , the age limit required is 28 years,.
for sc/st caste students the age relaxation is 5 years and for obc there is 3 years age relaxation.

DRDO (Defence Research & Development Organisation )SET exam has no lower age limitations.

There is 5 years relaxation of upper age limit for SC/ST/PH
and 3 years for OBC.

Educational Qualification:
An engineering degree in ECE/EEE/MECH/CSE/CHEM with a CGPA of atleast 6.75

hello sir /madam i m pursuing my B.E. with mechanical branch i m a third year student my aggregate is 65% but i got two backlogs which i have cleared in next attempt .....am i eligible for SET DRDO EXAM of year 2012 or 2013 ? is there any problem due to backlogs?

You require Atleast first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline...You can apply for SET DRDO in final year final semister you cannot apply in third year..

the eligibility for the DRDO SET exam are like this-

education---b.tech or B.e. degree with at least 65% in the following branches
1-electronics and communication
2-electrical and electronics engineering
3-computer science engineering
4-chemical engineering
5-mechanical engineering

AGE--should be less than 28 years ,a relaxation of 3 years for obc and 5 years for the sc/st students i the upper age.
so as you in the third year you can give this exam in the fourth year and if you are selected than you should have a degree of atleast 65% or 6.75 cgpa with no running back logs after completing engineering.no mattter how much backlogs you have got in the previous years.

Yes you can apply for DRDO(DEfence Research and Development Organisation)SET(scientist entrance Test) because the age limit is up to 28 years
You can attend the DRDO SEt exam if you have done your masters in Engineering.DRDO is an exam which is conducted every year for recruiting
engineer graduates.This exam is conducted in september every year It requires careful preparation and commitment to attend this test.

The exam pattern can be as follows:
This is a 3 hours test which includes two sections.The questions are related to their specialization in which they have done.This section includes 100 questions

Patterns include:
Analytical and Logical Reasoning
General awareness
Quantitative and Qualitative skills
Language skills
This section includes 50 questions

the marks which you scored in written exam will get eligible for futher selection process the candidates will be short listed with this marks and forwarded to the personal interview.

You are not eligible for the D.R.D.O set exam because the age limit is of 28 years .
For S.C/S.T ,the age relaxation is 5 years.
For O.B.C, the age relaxation is 3 years.

Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) SET all India entrance exam is conducted every year to recruit engineering or scientific graduates.

Yes ,,definetely you are eligible for DRDO SET exam,, as the age limit is 28 years,,
At the age 22 years you are eligible If you have completed your M.SC in subjects such as:
Chemistry,
Physics and Maths
OR B.TECH IN following disciples :
Civil.,Electrical ,Mechanical Aeronautical, Electronics&communication, Metallurgy.

For SC/ST students there is an age relaxation by 5 years and for OBC, there is a 3 year age relaxation.
EXAM PATTERN
Structure and Pattern of DRDO SET
DRDO SET exam is of 3 hours duration consisting of two sections ;
Section A & Section B

Section A has a total of 100 questions in the area where applicant has graduates like engineering stream or science subjects
Section B of 50 questions is on testing analytical and qualitative skills, and to gauge application understanding of current affairs and general awareness
