Thumbs up Re: Am I eligible to directly appear for Intermediate exam after completing my B.Com and MBA courses?

    Dear friend.

I am confused with the question you asked. If you have asked about the intermediate course of the ICWAI institute or the Company Secretary course of the ICSI institute then I am furnishing the complete details regarding the same.

    ICWAI Intermediate course:

The ICWAI is a well reputed institute of the chartered accountancy in the field of the costing and work accountancy.
The intermediate course is the second level course in the institute after the foundation course.

Eligibility: It is accessible by only the foundation course passed or the qualified candidates. Even the graduates or the post graduates in any discipline of arts/ science/ commerce can too apply for the course.
So that means you being a b.com passed candidate can too apply for the course.

The application forms are accessible at the regional offices of the institute.
The cost of the application form is 200/- by hand and 350/- by post.
    The registration fees is 500/-
Practical training fee is 1000/- along with the computer hands on fees is 6000/-

There is no cancellation criteria as such and no refund is made to the candidate in that case.
The institute provides the course through two means:
    *postal coaching: fees is 7000/-
    *Oral coaching:fees is 11000/-

For further details log on to the official website of the insitute: www.icwai.org

Compant Secretary - CS intermediate course:

A company secretary is a person that keeps a company humming in well coordinated manner bound by the laws and taxation services.
The institute is well reputed in the field of the CS course in India.
To be eligible for the course one has to be a foundation course passed candidate in the CS course of the same institute. Even the graduates in any discipline of arts/science and commerce can too apply for the course directly without going for the foundation course. It is also clarified that the grduates in any discipline of fine arts will not be able to do so.

    Subjects:
    Group I:
    *General laws and commercial laws
    *Company accounts and cost management
    *Tax laws
*Corporate management of the info systems

    Group II:
    *company law
    *company secretarial practice
    *Secretarial laws and management

So that means you are eligible for this course too after your b.com directly.

    Good luck
