    Dear Friend

Those who have completed Graduation in Commerce stream, should have at least

50% marks in aggregate. If you fulfill this eligibility criteria, you can directly apply

for Integrated Professional Competency Course (IPCC).

Once you qualify the IPCC, you can then apply for Final exam to complete the course.

For further information you can visit: www.icai.org

    HI

IPCC stands for Integrated Professional Competency Course..ICAI will conducts the IPCC exam for graduation students(B.Com,B.Sc,BBA etc..) can directly join the IPCC course.

If you are completed your graduation then you can get the direct admission.
This is the second stage of charted accountancy course.

    Eligibility :

    for Commerce graduates:55%
    For non commerce graduates:60%

If you are completed B.Com with 52% you are not eligible for IPCC..

Re: Am I eligible for direct admission in IPCC after completing B.Com pass with 52%?

Sorry to inform you but there is no way to take direct admission in the IPCC of the CA course. The good marks you have got will not work.To join CA course you have to apply for the CPT examination.CPT examination is entry level test of the CA course.Every one who want to join CA has to give the CPT examination. This is in effect from the year 2006-2007.
So to join IPCC you have to appear for CPT examination.

Re: Am I eligible for direct admission in IPCC after completing B.Com pass with 52%?

Sorry you can not apply for IPCC as your Graduation percentage is less as per the Criteria.

To apply for IPCC with out CPT you need to have completed your Graduation with minimum of 60% , if your from commerce background then you need to have 55%.

CPT and IPCC as the two stages of CA course.

To apply for CPT course you need to have completed 12th.

After clearing CPT only you can apply/appear for IPCC.

But recently there was a change in this pattern by government, If you have completed your Graduation then you can appear/apply for IPCC with out clearing CPT.

There is No Age limit for CA course.

So as your percentage is less compared to the above mentioned criteria you can not apply for IPCC.

To get admission in IPCC without qualifying CPT, you should be having
at least 50% marks in aggregate in B.Com.
Only the marks of third year is not of that importance.
One should have 50% marks in aggregate in B.Com.

Since you are graduated in B.com and the IPCC can be approached directly after completing your graduation with 50% marks you are eligible..
As you have completed your graduation with 52% so you can give the IPCC exam..

    Hello,
Its next to impossible because without going to a flat from Entrance you can't think to climb a window to enter it.
so you can't get direct admission in IPCC.
    and why to take tension,
CPT exam is held 4times a year means you can give any attempt and qualify.
It just take 4years to do CA if you do it without fail.
    Thank you.

Re: Am I eligible for direct admission in IPCC after completing B.Com pass with 52%?

sorry to say this you are not eligible to write IPCC after completion of your b.com with 52%
IPCC is a second level exam in CA course
eligibility criteria for this is b.com graduates with 55% or you should be qualified in CPT
you got 52% so you are not eligible to write IPCC directly
if you are intrested in CA course first you apply for first level exam CPT
after completion of CPT you are eligible to write IPCC

Re: Am I eligible for direct admission in IPCC after completing B.Com pass with 52%?

    IPCC: integrated professional competency course.
This is the second level of CA course.

CA course consist of three stages:
    CPT . Common proficency test.
    IPCC: Integrated professional competency course.
    Finally CA.

The intermediate pass out are required to enroll for CPT
than after clearing CPT course you ineligible for Next level.

    For graduate passout candidates
55% for commerce stream and 60% for non commerce stream.
The graduates opting this percentage are eligible for direct admission to IPCC level.

So as you have mentioned that your percentage is less than 55% than you are not eligible to get direct admission in IPCC:

    Thanks

Re: Am I eligible for direct admission in IPCC after completing B.Com pass with 52%?

The required percentage for Direct admission to CA IPCC for B.Com graduates : 55 %.

And for Non Commerce 60 %.

IPCC ( Integrated Professional Competency Course ) is the second Stage of CA course.

CA course has three stages : CPT ,IPCC and Final Course.

IPCC stage is divided in Group 1 and Group ll.
And in mean time you will have to register for Orientation course and 100 house of ITT .
And after completing group1 or groupll you will have registor for Articleship Training takes 3 years to be completd.

And after competing the training you can registor to Final course.

    Thanks
